Training one's spunk

The wind was calm. The male was stairing off at where the woman would be if she'd show up. It was something he was willing to do in order to get her to release some of her inner horror she kept inside. He pulled out his special blade. The one from the bag. Pressing a button he grinned and watched her every movement. Would it work? What he was doing I mean. Maybe but then again maybe not.

"Are you ready? Then you start."

He said as he stood, his body facing to the left as his right hand held the blade pointing towards the woman. He was ready, but would she be?

Kaelos came walking up the hill to the plains where she was to meet the male that had promised to train her into making her a better ninja. And perhaps...even a better person in the process. A cocky yet amused smirk graced her lips as she looked over at Aku as one of her hands was on the handle of her katana that was on her hip while her other hand was on her waist just resting there for the moment. “Do you really need to ask that? I was born ready.” She stated as she pulled her blade free and started to run towards the male, her blade held out to her right side held horizontally.

The male smiled gently as she came closer. His body wasn't exactly moving. He was just standing. His body nearly unmoving. When she was nearly a foot close, his body moved. The blade, the kusanagi on his back lifted from there and was thrown towards her stomach. It wouldn't kill her, just injure her enough to stop her if it hit. At the same time his sword in his hand lifted slightly giving birth to a swift movement of his hands.

The blackness at his feet would then twist and dance. It was like a show of puppets. It would dance around and twist. The show being that of a gentle movement, almost like a toy a child was playing with.

As the blade was thrown towards her stomach, she quickly moved to the side and back. She noticed how the shadow at his feet was moving and knew what it could mean for her. She looked up as the sun and positioned her body so that her shadow was behind her, which would make it harder for him to trap her through the use of shadows. One of her hands reach into her bust to pull out a few slips of paper. She did a few hand signs, making the paper harden and sharpen, so it can be used as a shuriken. From the amount of paper she pulled out, she made three of them and she threw them towards him. One was aimed for his thigh, another for his arm, and the last for his chest.

The man smiled as he saw the paper be thrown at him, his body shifting sending his shadow to return instantly. He pulled the sword up and struck two of the three papers, the other zipped past him not even scathing him. However, what he did next would piss her off. The sword from behind her, aimed back at her stomach area, where it would pierce through, again not in a position to kill but simply maim.

He then simply moved and stopped, throwing the blade in the air, shortly after he pulled out a small piece of paper. After, he clenched the hilt and the paper as he waited for her move next.

Kaelos’ eyes narrowed at how her paper shurikens she made seemed as if they were just flies thanks to how he got rid of them so easily. She slightly got annoyed at herself as she cursed herself mentally for having completely missed him with one of the paper shurikens. A glance over her shoulder at sensing something coming right at her gave her a view of the blade. She bent her body sideways as one of her hands reached out as an attempt to grab hold of the blade’s hilt but it moved too fast for her as it returned back to him. She just stood there and watched him.

The male smiled and caught the blade. Perhaps it was time to fight like what they were best at, Kenjutsu. He let the blade be placed in to it's saya where he grabbed the hilt of the larger sword tightly with both hands. It was time to test how good she was with just a sword.

With out a moment's hesitation he bolted forward, his hand pulling the choke just right so it would start the engine. He charged at her as fast as he could, the blade in a downward strike, the teeth ready to shred.

Kaelos seemed to have smirked at the male as he caught the blade and put both hands on the hilt of the one that was larger. Her own grip on her red-bladed katana grew tighter as she simply waited and watched him make the first move. All the while, she was also paying attention to the shadows as within a battle anything can happen. She must be cautious about every movement she makes, especially against Aku as she has seen his ability with the shadows before. A silent chuckle left her lips as he charged towards her. She charged right at him, but at the last minute she ducked to his right while her blade would connect with his own and her free hand would make a motion as to strike him in the lower gut.

The male smiled greatly as she attempted to pary the blade, however he stepped to the left. Not only did he not tear apart her sword as intended he also dodged the incoming attack she had made, but from there he aimed a punch of his right arm to her left shoulder. If it connected it would send her back a little ways and possible fracture a bone or two.

Just after that he gathered up all his stuff and got in his standard position he used with Ikari. Laughing a bit he then darted forth and aimed a slash along her midsection. If it were to connect it would rip apart her body practically in two, but then again he wouldn't let that happen, so if it was to connect he would stop just before, so the only thing being torn apart was her pride, and her clothes.

The man would then jump up and land behind her, if she was smart she would kick him when he landed, but he expected that, which is why he had his right arm always at the ready, and so was Ikari.

The eyes of the female darkened and narrowed as her temper was starting to slowly take over her mental functions. She felt as if this male was merely making fun of her and her skills with wielding a blade, due to him smiling. Her eyes seeing his armored fist come right for her left shoulder, she did the splits to duck it while her blade that was dodged earlier moved in an upwards motion, aiming to cut up his front side. After she would make the move, she used the body flicker technique to gain distance between herself and him so as she can gain an idea of how to possibly defeat him. As so far nothing she has come up with has worked…which was pissing her off.

As he moved towards her, she growled slightly as he was laughing at her. She threw her body back when he made a slash at her, using the sheath that hanged on her hip as a sort of shield just in case to drive the blade away from her. She didn’t turn her head as she felt and heard him land behind her, but her hands silently and quickly made a few hand signs before she moved one of her legs to kick behind her aimed for his groin while the hand that held her blade moved to swing behind her at him.
