The night's sky was perfect tonight. Zone, a young boy with naturally spiked silver hair and all black, jounin type vest and pants on, took in the nights embrace and smiled. The stars that lined the sky sprinkled across the vast black blanket that seemed to cover the earth itself. Zone was going to have fun. The path that he was on was eveloped in darkness, the full moon giving him little bits and pieces of light that scattered the pathway as he walked. He knew the path by heart amost, so he knew exaxtly what he was doing. He had a dufflebag that hung near his waist, the strap coming up and over his shoulder for an easy carrying/support tool. His bag was filled with decent training materials. The tripods that he had plenty of, a couple of bomb tags, flash tags, regular kunai, paper targets, and some other little thing. Zone could tell it was a damp night, because he felt the his feet getting wet as he walked. Zone didn't even notice it until he got to the mouth of the opening to the small plain. Zone was relieved. There was just enough light to train. Zone walked about 3 meters into the plain and sat down his bag. It was time to get to business.
Zone wrapped his hand around a tripod pole, and took it out. After he took the tripod out, he took out a scroll of paper. After all that, he got up and put the tripod down about 4 meters away from the tripod. The tripod was very sturdy, the frame of it being very lightweight but very durable steel. It was hard to dent the frame but easy enough to knock over. But here, it was to serve its purpose as being a target. Zone reached down into his tool bag, which was put on his back, and pulled out a kunai. He twirled it quickly around his body and grabbed it in mid spin. He was going to have to warm up first. Didn't want to pull anything. The darkness made this tricky, because he couldn't see the tripod at all. Even when he was close, he couldn't see it. The darkness was thick this night. Zone didn't mind it though. He knew that it would help him in a fight if he were somehow blinded. Zone jumped back about 5 meters, and took aim. He then quickly ran towards the target. His shoes hitting the damp ground almost made sloshing noises as he trucked towards the tripod. He then threw his kunai, and jumped into the air. His dominate right foot foward with his foot tilted back so his heel would be at point, and his left leg bent back towards his body, he aimed a flying kick to the tripod. He heard the kunai rip into the paper, a second later his heel completely destroying the paper all together. The tripod went flying back, and Zone went sailing a couple more yards. He hit the ground hard, and slid about 6 feet. That wet grass was going to get him hurt. He pushed on though. He then went on search for his dufflebag.
He knew he put it somewhere around... Zone tripped and caught himself mid fall. There it was. Maybe he should keep his dufflebag lite so he could see it. Zone turned around, and kneeled over the bag. He put his hand inside of the bag, and searched through it. He pulled out a small stick like object. He then put his mouth on the end, bit down hard, and tore off the top. Instantly, a red flame jumped from the tip of the stick and Zone held it away from his face. "Here we go… " The young boy smirked at the flare he had. These flares could stay lite for about 45 minutes. So he had some good time to train before the thing went out. Zone stuck it into the ground, the flame hopping and flickering with a small hissing noise as he pushed it into the soft soil. [I]"It should hold up."[/color] Zone took out another tripod and took out some small noise makers. These noisy things were extremely loud, but take out enough of the powder, and they become very quiet. Well, the screeching is only momentary and its only slightly more quiet. They worked with what Zone was doing at the moment, and they helped him greatly. Zone then got up and began to distance himself from the bag. He was going to have to now. He was going to do something a little more dangerous.
"Now for a more exciting excercise, ladies and gents!" Zone set up the tripod about 6 meter's from the dufflebag and attached a paper target. This target was practically invisible in the darkness. But the whole point of this training was to heighten the sense's when your blinded. So it worked. Zone did a few handseals, and spit out a very small flame, hitting the wick of the small firework. Zone did a handseal and blindly body flickered into the darkness. With his flare still going around his dufflebag, he looked over into the darkness that enveloped his target. Where was it exactly... Then, he could hear the yelping of the firework, and Zone did handseals quickly. He then put his index finger and his thumb up to his mouth, about 5 inchs away, and spewed out a large fireball. This lite up the darkness. As the fireball roared through the night, it left grass and near-by nature on fire. Not the trees though, which was good. The fireball slowly hit the earth and then completely engulfed the tripod. After destroyng the thing, the fireball rose quickly and flew into the air. Giving a pretty decent show in Zone's book. The fireball then lost energy, and dispersed, lighting up the area.. "Nice..."
Zone looked at what he had done. There was scorch marks as wide as 5 feet where the fireball had travelled. He couldn't really see it, but the damage was pretty good. Zone walked over to the tripod that was now about 8 meters away. It almost went to the tree line. Zone was suprised, he didn't think his jutsu had that much power. Zone seen the tripod in the night because it was glowed a low orange. The fireball did numbers on it. He decided to let that cool off in the damp grass, probably the only reason why the whole plain wasn't on fire. Zone was now about to do something a little more off the top. He was going to open the 5th and 6th celestail gates. These warm up's helped, but there was a bigger reason on why he came out here.
Zone knew little of the celestial gates. Besides there obvious increase of speed and power and where the gates were actually located, he knew little about the side effects once activated. He had gone up to the 4th celestial gate. It didn't suprise him that it would take a toll on his body, but the physical effects were too good to pass up. It could be used in many ways, and it's extremely beneficial. But extremely costly. A good last resort for tight situations. Which Zone liked about it the most.
Zone looked through the darkness, and decided to put the flare near a tripod near the end of the plain. The plain was roughly a quarter mile long, which was a pretty good distance to train in. Especially for this next one. Zone walked over to his dufflebag that was lite up by his flare, and stuck his hand in. He rummaged around, looking for something in particular. "Here we go." He grabbed what he needed to continue. It was a soccer ball. Not just any soccer ball, this soccer ball had blinking lights taped all around it. Zone smirked. This was going to be more fun then he thought.
Zone held the soccer ball in his right hand, pushing in on one of the little blinkers with his left. Then, the ball lite up with blue and yellow lights. Something that could be easily seen. He tossed it up a couple of time's, feeling its weight. Zone caught it with both hands the next time it fell from the air. It was time to get down to business. "Ok... Here we go...!" Zone threw the ball with all his strength towards the other end of the plain. In complete darkness, the blinking lights grew smaller and smaller as it soared. Zone buckled down, bending his legs as soon as the ball left his hand. His stance widend, the soft wet grass getting patted down under the pressure of his chakra flaring, as he located the first gate inside of his head. He pushed through it, and he felt the incredible rush of the first gate opening.
"First gate... Open!!!" His body got a surge of power, and he smirked. He felt his muscles ease and tighten, bending down and pushing off his back foot to accelerate almost instantly to top speeds. In the darkness, he looked like a moving shadow. Almost like he appeared, he stomped his feet onto the ground right under the soccer ball, which was now falling, and jumped into the air. Trying to look like a pro soccer ball player, he did a backflip kick to smash the ball downward. After flipping, he seemed to disappear again.
Now travelling through the air, Zone pushed his chakra to the next chakra limiter. "Second gate... Open!!!" Zone felt refreshed, his muscles less tense, his body becoming re-energizing as he travelled. The second gate made him feel ready to fight a whole army. He hit the ground again, sliding about 5 feet. But he calculated this. Regaining balance under the flashing lights the soccer ball made, he shuffled towards the ball and threw a high side kick. The ball again, but this time at a higher velocity, flew threw the night air, going directly infront of him as it flew. Zone brought his foot down quickly, and then sat for a half second. He then manipulated his chakra towards the next gate, which was located in the spine.
"Gate of Life... Open!!" Zone felt his blood pump faster then usual, and he felt his power skyrocket again. If he was in the daylight, his skin would be red with the increase of blood flow. His pupil's disappearing, giving him a possessed look. But at night, he was just another shadow. Zone pushed off his dominate right foot, feeling his muscles tense like crazy, as he rocketed towards the blinking soccer ball. He practically appeared, and again jumped up to the flying soccer ball. He spun again, this time his body parallel to the ground. He spun like a spinning barrel, the inside of his foot hitting the soccerball. This time, he completely destroyed one of the lights that was on the soccer ball, as the ball blinked every so often. He spun all the way onto the ground, and landed on his knee, his right foot being close to his body as his upper body was bent over his left knee. His hands on the ground, he took off again in a blur like fashion. He was almost half way to the ball when it bounced. It bounced high, and Zone was close enough to set up for a nice kick.
"Gate of Pain... Open!!!" Zone again flowed his chakra towards the gate of pain, also located in the spinal cord. He felt a surge of power come. He felt his muscles pulse quickly, and felt the intial rush of the extra power. This feeling was second to none. Pure power, pure speed. Energy exploded all around Zone, small rocks and debris slowly rising upwards as it opened. Zone again took off faster then before. He was at the ball that bounced before it even reached its peak, and Zone threw a very powerful front kick that almost sent him into a backflip. The ball flew high into the air, Zone could barely see the blinking ball. Now, it was time to go beyond the 4th gate.
"The Fifth Gate of Limit... Open!!!" Zone dug deep in his abdomen with his chakra, and again forced the gate of limit open, further increasing his power and speed. Energy and chakra again began to overflow over Zone, a rising tide of energy flying up and around Zone as he touched the ground a small crater formed. He was gaining power so quickly that the surge of power around him began to affect the area around him. He bent slowly and statically, and then pushed off the ground with almost 2x as much speed as before. He flew extremely fast through the air, almost being halfway to the ball before the ball reached its peak. The ball finally stopped around 28 meters into the air, and Zone needed a little extra boost. Time to try out the 6th gate.
"The Sixth Gate of View... Open!!!!!!! Mid-air, Zone exploded with energy that could be felt all across the plain. Zone began to emit so much energy that he looked like he just created a sonic boom, as he flew upward into the air. His teeth clentched, his eye's focused on the soccer ball, and his aim to completly destory it, made him smile as he flew. He appeared above the ball almost instantly after he opened the 7th gate. He then threw a down axe kick so hard that the ball just exploded. The remanents of the soccer ball, the pieces of skin, flew so fast that when they hit the ground, small crater's formed. Zone then almost instantly hit the ground, feeling his muscles being as tense as they possibly could, he fell over. The small crater he created didn't affect his fall, but he fell asleep almost instantly. This was extremely strainuous on the body, and Zone deserved a nice nap.
