Another day, another day to train. Zone, the 5'11" silver haired boy with large sized kanji's written over his body, walked through a brisk forest towards the end of the day. Everything was going perfect on this day. He finally found a day where everything was perect to train. The skies were a dim blue, with orange highlights on the outer rims of the sky that triumphantly glowed across the sunset. To the opposite east of the sky, the sky was a faint purple. Zone looked through the trees, catching slight glimpses of what was going on. It was beautiful. Everything seemed tranquil. The birds were chirping softly in the distance, the wild life seemed to pop up every now and again, rabbits and birds and foxes were just an example. If he didn't know any better, he would swear he heard a bear out in the distance. The day was perfect, and that's all Zone needed to start and train. On todays menu, the celestial gate of life. The 3rd celestial gate. When he obtains this, he can finally put another gate under his belt, and add to his ever growing arsenal. Zone, thinking about the possiblities of the 3rd gate, reached the opening of the forest line. This was it. He was ready to start.
Zone looked around the grassy plain, and took a couple of steps foward. Thinking ahead this time, Zone took out a collapsable dummy from a duffle bag he was carrying. It was made from some low grade metal, but he had many and that meant he could go all out to a certain point. Zone looked for a reasonable spot, his eyes scanning and quickly searching for a place to post this thing. The boy looked at a spot way off to the west of his location. He walked a diagonal line, not a perfect line, and found the spot where he wanted to put this dummy. The dummy had a paper target, which wasn't all bad, and he flung the target open. The dummy was something like a tri pod, and he shoved the metal down into the soft earth below. He then took a couple steps back. Perfect. Well, good enough. Zone started back, duffle bag over his should, and he plopped the bag down on the ground. He took out a couple of shuriken. Not his favorite weapon in the world, but it has a purpose in this kind of training. Zone then looked at the target, and took in a deep breath. He could already feel the chakra in his brain pushing against the doorway of the first gate. The gate of opening. As he pushed against this blockage, he felt the give of the gate, and it opened almost at will. The boy felt the surge of energy burst throughout his body, and he almost was pushed on the balls of his feet without any choice. The boy looked at the target. With one simple push off of the dominate foot, the boy was propelled into momentum that looked like a simple lunge. Almost gliding off of the one push, the boy put his foot down hard and pushed off his left foot, hopping straight into the air. He was now about a meter from the target, almost directly above the dummy. The boy, with his upward jump, began to spin rapidly. With the 4 shuriken in hand, the boy threw the shuriken at decent speeds arounf. From the outside, it would look like a blurry spinning image with 4 small pieces of debris flying out. With the english on the shurikens, the shurikens then began to spin wildly. They would spin all the way out about 5 meters, then quickly turn downward in a long banking turn. The shuriken's then would fly into the paper dummy's paper target, one hitting the frame of the dummy. The dummy was now severed, and the stand itself was completely broken into 2. Zone hit the ground with a small tap, and turned to see the dummy.
"Dammit... didn't mean to break the thing..." Zone walked over to the two pieces of what was left of the dummy. He sighed, and took the paper off the frame. "Let's see..." Zone took the paper and spread it open, his arms wide from holding the paper. "3 bulls eyes... one complete miss... got to clean that up...." Zone crumbled the paper and got an idea. He threw the paper as far as he could throw it, and did handseals. Opening the 1st gate again, he quickly leaped into the air with great speed and put his fingers to his lips, his index and thumb making a open circled O. "Great Fireball Technique!" A smaller then usual fireball streamed at the opening of his fingers, and the fireball easily engulfed the paper. Zone, putting his legs together and his arms straight out infront of him, he quickly tried to catch all the burnt, ripped up pieces of paper that began to fall off the paper. His hands moved with great speed, catching most of the individual pieces of paper. He then elegantly flipped and landed with one knee on the ground and with his knee up to his chest, his foot planted under him. He stood up quickly and counted the pieces. "...23..." he was satisfied.
The boy looked up to see thee sun setting faster then he thought. He had to end this session quick but have it be as effective as possible. The boy looked at his duffle bag and walked over to it. He dropped the ashes he had in his hand, and clapped/swiped his hands together, getting the ashes off. The boy was getting excited. He took out about 5 dummies, and turned around to look and see where he was going to place them. He scanned for about 2 seconds, and began to walk through the mildly tall grass to find the destinations of his 5 dummy friends. He walked about 3 meters and took out one dummy he had between his armpit, and kicked open the tripod set up. He then pushed the dummy into the ground, making sure it wouldn't fall over if a strong gust of wind came along this small plain of grass. He then walked 3 more meters, and stuck a metal framed dummy into the ground. This time, since he followed a straght line from the other dummy, he set the dummy off a little bit. He then walked another 3 or 4 meters, and stuck it into the ground. This time, sticking it farther left of the original dummy. He did this for every dummy, making the dummy patteren look like a zig zagged line from above. This time, however, he planned to demolish the dummies.
The boy did handseals, and body flickered back to his duffle bag, which was about 2 meters away from the first dummy. The boy then took in a deep breath, and exhaled slowly. He then concentrated on the 3rd gates location. The spinal cord. Focusing his chakra, he slowly built it up at the entrance of the gate. He then slowly began to push, finally, he pushed one hard time and felt an incredible amount of chakra flow off of his body. He began to radiate energy, there being a small aura around him. He was defiantly on the balls of his toes this time, as he clenched his fists hard. His elbows were tucked into his waist and his arms out at about a 45 degree angle. His iris's and pupils were gone, his eyes brows crashing into the bridge of his nose and a vein or two popping out of his forehead. Because of the increased blood flow, his skin turned red almost immediately. He successfully opened the 3rd gate. He had done it. He looked over at the dummies that were sitting dully on the plains. He was going to demolish these things.
With his body in a frenzy with all this energy, he took out a kunai quickly, and practically disappeared with speed. His feet could barely touch the ground like this. With his legs moving so fast, he couldn't even react to the dummy coming closer to him in what seemed like mili seconds. He put out his arm and easily swiped his hand with the kunai back into his chest. With the kunai resting on his chest, he was coming up to the second dummy. He quickly took the kunai from his right hand and swiped with his hand just like before. He did this with the rest of the dummies, easily cutting them in two while he zig zagged through the dummies. When he stopeed and turned around, he seen what he had done. The dummies didn't even break until they got the time to, Zone being to fast for them to fall instantly. The dummies fell, and Zone looked happy. He did it. He got the 3rd celestial gate.
Zone threw his kunai down onto the ground and wondered if he should take that extra step. If he should go all the way and dig deep to take that extra step to get strong. He wondered if his body would be able to take the power. He sighed, and looked at his hands. They were still red from the increase in blood. They felt powerful. They felt like their own weapon. He had to take that step to get what he wanted. He was going to dig deep. Zone looked around and felt that he was a little dizzy. No matter. Zone shook his head quickly and looked out into the forest line. He was just going to run. Run until he couldn't run anymore. He again felt the energy pouring off of him, his arms slamming and recoiling down into a 45 degree angle. "Here we gooooooo!" Feeling the energy surge through his body, he guided his chakra into the lower parts of his spine and felt the gates doors again. This time, it was the gate of pain. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" The gate of pains gates were pushed open, as another burst of energy went through the boys body. The energy emitted from the the boy was tremendous, the power pushing away dust and small rocks with ease as the grass was fluttering away from Zone. Zone didn't have a moment to lose. He simply disappeared. He was already 20 meters away at this point. He had ridiculous speed, weaving in and out of the trees in the forest easily. He put his right foot down hard and jumped out of the trees canopy. "Yeeeeah!!" he screamed as he flipped through the air at almost untracable speeds to some. He quickly hit the canopy and then the ground. He pushed off his left foot, and disappeared again. He threw 5 kicks to a tree and somehow recovered in air, and hit the ground on his right foot. He pushed off his right foot and disappeared again. The tree basically exploded into the direction Zone was going. Zone was in heaven, running so fast that he couldn't see any detail in anything. Everything was blurred. He loved it.
Zone finally started to feel the affects of the 4 gate. He felt his muscles begin to cramp, and felt like the muscles in his legs were going to break. He slowled down by sliding about 3 meters, stopping on a path that was made in the woods. He fell down on his ass, and fell over with his arms flung out. He rolled a couple of times, and finally settled on his back, looking up to the sky. "Aaaah... I can't move..." Zone had a smirk on his face. He went that extra step. He felt good. He actually felt like shit, but that didn't discourage him. He ws slowly making progress in his fight to get stronger. To become a great ninja. He thought that the next few gates were going to be twice as hard to learn and train, but kept that out of his mind. He felt his muscles relax, and felt his mind slowly go into unconsciousness. He was going to take a nice long nap. He looked over to his right, and passed out.
