Lets clear up a few things

Alright, so we let some things slip through our eyes...


So let me just clear this up with stats and what not

Genin start out with 5 stat points... these are your base stats...

You can then buy more base stats.... up to 15

Chunin starting stat is 20

YOU DON'T gain 15 points.. you gain 5

Why? Because 15 to 20 is 5.

One more time.. genin start with 5.. genin buys 5 more base stats.. that equal 10

Now to go from 10 to 20 is 10 points.

BTW since the revamp.. SP. Jounin is not a rank... if you PAY ATTENTION TO THE STAT SYSTEM... you will notice that SP. JOUNIN IS NOT THERE.

Okay so wait the classes is were the genin get the extra 10 from. The class boost makes them 15 at genin.

Base stats.. then there are class stats...

Now... lets say someone has 15 base stats.. then they have an extra 10 from class stats.. thats 25 in total? So wouldn't they be chunin level? No

Why? Because their base stat is what counts when you rank up

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. So classes and shit dont count until they rank up excluding the primary class. So all genin should start with no more than 10 TOTAL stats if we count the primary class boost, but if not then genin are infact limited back down.
Cause we dont get the secondary class benifit until we reach level Jounin,

I ask just to make sure this is what you are saying o.e

I think he means that your initial amount determines your rank. Your additives just are special bonuses
