[size=12]To completely master the 8 gates you have to do an additional 4000 words of training. This mastery allows you to go in and out of the gates with less strain the body resulting in less fatigue. Without the mastery you will experience the cool down, however with the mastery, cooldowns will be halved, but you will still die after the 8th gates activation.


The cooldown is a period of time where you are in a severely weakened state and cannot use your chakra system at all meaning no chakra related techniques can be used. Activation of the next gate will negate the cooldown. Additionally take note if your stamina/chakra stat falls into minus numbers, you have depleted your chakra and will die.

One thing.. Wouldn't five-tail chakra surpass a kage? Just saying. Orochimaru's power surpasses a kage, and he could barely handle the Four-Tailed state Naruto

Umm. Orochimaru barely killed Sarutobi, Orochimaru is not that far above average kage level. Also it depends on the Kage honestly. We where thinking "Surpasses a Kage" Would be like the older Kages. Like A, A's Dad, The Second Hokage etc etc. Also, I suggest we take the word kage out, its a title not a power level.

Over 9000 indeed.

The Third Gate should be tweaked a little bit. It has the ability to heal wounds, but I don't see it mentioned.

Kazumi's edits are way overboard. o.o

I think that Kazumi's drawbacks are a bit more fair to have given the power you receive from the gates. But the permanent muscle damage I think should be reserved for the seventh gate.

Kazumi's edits are extremely over 9000. Third gate is way OP. The person can be traced by byakugan and sharingan up to gate five, as demonstrated by Kakashi and Neji in the Chunin Exam Preliminaries with the fight between Gaara and Lee. The fourth gate is overpowered as Gaara's basic sand shield was able to withstand the blow AND impact of the fifth, regardless of the cushioned fall.
