Seven Swordsmen Realization + Sword Empty

3000/3000 Words.

With a slow convicted strut, Kazumi had begun making his way through the mist he was all too fond of seeing. His face was frowned up, but you wouldn’t actually see this because of the mask he kept on his face, and his body was rather tense as well, but you wouldn’t notice this either, due to the cloak he had over his Shinobi garments. Before he would emerge through the mist into view, you could only hear the wooden clap of his Geta sandals reverberate against the solid stonesk ground of Kirigakure. You would then see the black cloak flapping against the mist, and the wind. Next his body would show through, and you wouldn’t know what to think of him, because he gave no actual signs of any emotion, and his body language was fairly unreadable. But Kazumi was, as always, under pressure. His task was quite simple, but the journey would be rather difficult. Something he’d been planning on doing for a distant time now, he would evoke his journey into fulfillment. But first he had to prepare, albeit, most of his preparation work had already been done. He was already physically prepared, but was only partially mentally prepared. Kazumi had a lot to live up to, more than he could even imagine, but he had a few things actually going for him. For one he had the knowledge, and next the conviction, and finally the genetics to become the greatest, and make it into the seven swordsmen of the mist, and retrieve the infamous sword, the one which was previously owned by his dad at some point so many years ago. Kazumi mentally took a tab on everything he had on him, he didn’t want to take on this journey without the proper supplies. He had ten explosive tags, three kunai, and one katana, and an arsenal of deathly jutsu at his disposal. He was a unique ninja in the sense that he could use the Boil Release to ultimately melt his opponents, and obstacles that plagued his path. He was well versed in using it too, his dad had taught him well.

Flash Back.

The mist was just as misty as ever, and nothing was more true then for the training space located outside of the Terumi residence. Standing there face to face was father and son. It was a rare occasion, Terumi Kozan was home on a break from a long and perilous mission, and so they were taking and making the most of this occasion with a long and hard training session. “It works like this Kazumi, mix both chakras in your center, then release them together like this.” Kozan focused his chakra via a handsign building up his fire release, and water release, then combining them to form boil release chakra in his stomach, before exhaling the potent mist into a field of trees. The trees began to crackle and melt away rapidly fore the mist was extremely potent. “Give it a try Kazumi, and don’t worry because you’re immune to the mist just like I am, so it won’t harm you.” “Alright, I’ll give it a try, I’m not so sure about this though, what if I kill us both…you know I’m kind of clumsy...I guess…” “Ah..Kaz if anything goes wrong I can nullify the acidity, so go ahead, I don’t wanna hear another word about it, we don’t have much time y’know.” “Ok, here it goes.” Kazumi began focusing his water and fire release chakras into his stomach, combining them to form boil release. “Huuuuh…” the acidic mist began to seep from his mouth overlapping a new set of trees which crackled, and began to melt away at the same rate as the previous batch. “You keep that up, and you’ll surpass even me, Kazumi.” Kazumi’s young face brightened at the thought as the acidic mist was swept away in the opposite direction and dispersed so that it could cause no more harm. “Good, now lets move on, I’m going to teach you how to create explosions, they are my specialty, it’s even a wonder we weren’t born with blast release instead eh? Anyway, the technique’s called Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance. It creates a gas, that will ignite at the slightest spark and explode in a huge fireball depending on how much chakra you use and how much is spread out in the area. Let me show you.” Kozan lowered his stance, and began creating hand signs (Snake, Ram, Monkey, Tiger). Sucking in air, “Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance!” He released the air he stored in his lungs, and what came out was grayish gas which spread out over the melted trees, covering over ten feet of space. He removed a Kunai, with an explosive tag wrapped around it from his pocket, and launched it into the gas as it sparked and erupted into an explosion. Kazumi covered his eyes as the yellow-orange light had blasted into his face. “Wow…” “I’m gonna teach you how to do that Kazumi. I hope you’re ready.” “Of course.” Kazumi clasped his hands creating the necessary hand signs (Snake, Ram, Monkey, Tiger). He sucked in air, while concentrating his fire release chakra, “Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance!” the gas bellowed from his mouth covering over the trees he had once melted, he removed a kunai form his pouch, which already had the explosive tag wrapped around it, and hurled it into the gas. The tag ignited suddenly, and exploded into the gas, which acted as a catalyst, boosting the explosion, the force of the blaze rippling an airwave at them, and evaporating the mist in that general area. Kozan’s eyes had widened, a smirk crawling up it as the shock of what happened subsided. “That’s my boy.” “I guess I did good for my first try eh pops?” “You did excellent, and I think we should call it a wrap for now, your mother should be done cooking about now, let’s go eat and replenish our chakra so we can start training again.” “Right”…… Kazumi and Kozan made it to the dinner table, Kazumi’s mom setting out the food. “Now Kazumi, this is very important so listen carefully. Its not a secret that I won’t be around forever, I live an extremely dangerous lifestyle, and I want you to take up my pedestal if anything were to happen to me.” “Don’t say that dad.” “I’m serious, just be quiet and listen. I am one of the Seven Great Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, and therefore I own one of the Seven Great Swords. I won’t tell you which one, but I want you to know that if I die, the sword will automatically be summoned to a neutral island off the coast of Kirigakure. There you will find the sword, and there you will gain everything you need to become one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, in addition to gaining the Great sword of mine. When it comes time for this to happen don’t second guess yourself. I’ll always be there with you in spirit, me, and your mother. Do this, and make me proud.” “I will become one of the Seven Great Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, I promise.”

Kazumi remembered as he made his way closer to his intended location, he would never forget those old training sessions with his dad, where he learned and mastered the very same jutsu his father knew, his infamous father. After a few more paces Kazumi made it to the docks, which was to carry him to the island from which his father had instructed him. He boarded a small rowboat, which swished back and forth as the rippling waves danced across the seemingly endless waters. The mist was so thick you could literally slice it with a knife, but the boat creaked along the waters nothing visible but a black silhouette of what could possibly be the island. The boat was engineered by an old man, who slowly and repetitively rowed the boat. “Hey old man… have you ever been to this island?” “Yes, I have.” “Anything interesting there you know about?” “Nope.” The old man was rather blunt, and didn’t seem to want to hold any type of conversation. “Ever heard of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist?” “Of course I have, and now that I think about it, I’ve heard of this man that goes by the name of Moshato, he has some dealings with that group, but that’s all I know, and that he lives somewhere on this island I’m’a takin yere.” “So Moshato it is I guess. Thanks for the info old man.” By now the boat was only a few meters from the island’s dock, Kazumi had arisen and as soon as the boat was close enough to the dock, he flickered onto it, and began walking toward land, waving back at the old man who rowed the boat, happy now that he was close to being with the seven swordsmen teacher, he first needed to find this Moshato.

Kazumi was rather surprised by what he found as he took a few paces onto the island’s moist soil. It was an immense crowd of random people, who he’d never met in his life, but they greeted him with hellos, and hi’s, how are you doings, and welcomes. Kazumi was honestly a bit overwhelmed, but he knew he had a task to complete, and needed away from these distractions; the real task was now to find this Moshato character, which has some ties to the Seven Swordsmen some kind of way. He was a bit tired after the long boat ride however and decided he would take a break, go eat, and find somewhere to call home for his stay so long as he was on this island. By this time the sky had turned a dark navy blue, which meant it was close to sleep time. It was still misty too, and the night’s air seemed to calm Kazumi. He would stay at this wooden Inn called ‘Joes Inn’ and begin gathering intelligence early the next morning. He found his way into his room, it was rather humble to say the least, but once there he slipped off his sandals, and removed the cloak, hanging it up in the closet, and placing the mask on the dresser next to the bed and the alarm clock. He slipped off his ninja tools, and laid them in a clear spot on the floor, and changed into his night clothes. He laid down and drifted to sleep in anticipation for the next day, he would locate Moshato, and get him to talk, he would locate the sword, and continue on with his fathers great legacy, and become a Seven Swordsmen.

Moisture only seemed to seep through the window of Kazumi’s humble hotel room, but the mist actually muffled the sun’s rays that tried to slip through and provide energy to Kazumi. Kazumi had awoke, and slipped into his ninja garbs, strapping on his tools, slipping into his Geta sandals, and applying both the cloak and mask to his face. Actually, he decided the mask wouldn’t be necessary for what he had planned today. He needed to talk to people face to face instead of from behind a mask; he needed them to trust him so that they would let him know what he needed to know. Kazumi exited ‘Joe’s Inn’ and took to the moist streets, and dampened air. It seemed as if it had been too long since he’d removed his father’s old mask and been outside in the world. He was too eager, and his disposition had changed, instead of stress he felt relief. His first stop was a Ramen stand, where he saw a few randoms sitting and enjoying a bowl of ramen a piece. “Hey guys…” Kazumi said as he took an empty seat next to them. “I’d like a bowl of pork ramen.” The man behind the counter responded aptly, readying the bowl at exceptional speed. “So, do any of you guys know of a man by the name of Moshato?” Kazumi broke his chop sticks, and dashed into the bowl taking a large amount of noodles in at a continuous rate. “Moshato, I’ve heard of him, I think he lives in a shack somewhere in the forest to the North of here.” “Really now..cool..I need him so I can start my Swordsmen Training.” “Ah so you aspire to join that legendary group, by the looks of you, I think you have potential enough.” “Thanks for the help.” Kazumi quickly finished his bowl, and headed North toward the forest, applying the mask once he was a good distance away from the town. “This is like playing hide and go seek in the forest…this will take forever.”

The forest was overgrown with large trees, insects scurrying about the ground at every drop of a foot. There were far more sinister beasts in the forest too, they seemed to be stalking Kazumi from the shadows, and Kazumi was indeed uneasy about this, but he came prepared for anything. As Kazumi continued to foot through the forest, he came upon a giant black bear. It was not the ordinary like we see in the wild, no, this bear was much, much larger, almost like a dinosaur. Kazumi took action, lowering his stance, and flickering to get a few feet in distance away from the bear. He removed a Kunai strapped around with an explosive tag. “I just had to find you, didn’t I…Geeze..Well at least I can have a bit of fun here now, thank you for making this journey not too boring eh?” He placed the handle of the Kunai between his teeth as he created hand signs (Snake, Ram, Monkey, Tiger). “Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance!” He took the Kunai with his left hand, and blew the explosive gas out all over the bears general location, being sure to capture the bear inside of the gas, he flickered back a short distance so he wouldn’t be caught in the explosion, and the bear began to roar, and stand on its paws in a threatening formation. Kazumi cocked his left arm back, and flung the Kunai into the gas, the explosive tag ignited, and exploded when it reached the center of the gas, which exploded the gas, which acted as a catalyst boosting the overall explosion to great proportions, incinerating the bear with minimal effort. The explosion caused quite a racous, it was sure to draw attention, but black fur was fluttering subtly to the ground along with rocks, and debris from nearby trees. As the dust cleared, a man approached from some distance away. “You must be Kozan’s son, you look just like him, and you executed that combo perfectly, you couldn’t be anyone but his offspring.” “Moshato?” “Yes… follow me.” Moshato began off in the forest and Kazumi followed him amongst the rubble of the explosion until they reached a shack. “This is my home, you are welcomed in.” Kazumi entered and Moshato followed. “I already know who you are and what you’re after, you’re in need of ‘The One’ he will teach you everything you need to know about being a Seven Swordsmen, and he will give you the sword you seek. He is here in the underground portion of this shack, where there is a secret cavern, with a lake inside and light shining through cracks in the roof. Enter through this way.” Moshato pointed through a door, which had stairs, Kazumi followed through it by himself, and found himself in this cavern. “Terumi, Kazumi…Son of the infamous Terumi, Kozan…come here so I can imbue you with the Sword you seek, and make you an official Seven Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist, come here and I’ll also give you your tattoo.” Kazumi approached, and his body couldn’t fully express his emotions, he honestly didn’t want it to because he would have looked soft and weak. The mask was still on his face as he approached, and The One was just sitting there waiting with the sword in his lap on a plain of grass, with light shining directly down upon him. There he was sitting his legs crisscrossed, Kazumi followed suit and did the same, crisscrossing his legs, ready to accept his birthright, and become the greatest swordsmen. “Where do you want your tattoo.” “I want it on my neck, like my dad.” “Good choice, come here.” The man’s finger seemed to glow as he etched the black tattoo seal into Kazumi’s neck, the ink crawling under his skin to form the symbol. “You’re now officially a Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, and now I present your sword.” The sword was still covered in white wraps, Kazumi didn’t know anything about it or what it did, he just knew it was his and he would now begin his training. “Now, if you’re ready… we will begin training now.” “I’m ready.” Kazumi’s body was shaking as he held the blade in his lap; his hands were shaking as he gripped its hilt. He could hardly stand to his feet but he managed, doing so at the exact same time as ‘The One’ stood up. “I’m assuming you’re well versed in ‘Basic’ Swordsmanship, well…I’m afraid that won’t help you here.” The man chuckled as he removed a blade of his own from its sheath on his side. “Like I said, I’m ready for anything…nothings gonna stop me now, and nobody will.” “Here I COME!” Kazumi held the blade with both hands, more than ready for what was next, he was eager for the blades to make contact. “Here I GO! This is for dad.” Kazumi tensed and charged in after ‘The One’ and his training had begun. They clashed with an awesome strike, both blades seemingly eager to enter combat after such a long time. “I like your eagerness kid, you’re gonna surpass your dad!”

Soriken The Warpsword

Appearance:
Spoiler:

Ability 1: Soriken absorbs the chakra of its wielder into its blade, causing it to vibrate rapidly, this causes the sword to appear as if it is glowing. When Soriken is swung, its extreme vibrations causes the blade to temporarily appear invisible much like a blur allowing it to slice virtually through anything physical. No physical thing can stand up to it. It cuts through other objects on the fly. However it can not cut through element-chakra based ninjutsus. Meaning earth release will be able to slow down the blades cutting, but it wont be able to completely halter it. Soriken earned its name the "Warpsword" because it sounds and appears to be ripping the fabric of space and time when its wielded.

Ability 2: The blade has the ability to refuel the chakra of the user depending on the situation. This only works in three situations. If the blood of the opponent touches the blade, it converts into three chakra points, which is added to the wielder. *Per Post.*. The second situation is if his opponent uses a jutsu that is projectile based, and of a different affinity then the weilder. The vibrations will cut the chakra into individual chakra parts, then absorb it. Converting it into two Chakra Points. The last is if the wielder sacrifices a victim after a fight, and only once after each battle, to replenish all injuries, and chakra. (NPC's will get half-chakra and no injuries.)
