| It was all so nostalgic; the brisk ocean breeze that came with every wave which crashed on the sparkling sand, the smell of salt in the wind, and the warm sun which had already began to rise. Over the course of Yumi’s life time she had visited the Great Ocean more times then she could remember. Visiting the beach again sent memories flooding into her mind causing a whole hearted smile to form. Despite the good memories this place held for her she found herself trembling even as she smiled. It was the first time she had looked at the ocean knowing she soon would be venturing out there and has to explore till she found the island she was looking for. Yumi was aware of this earlier but now that it wasn’t all just talk and she was actually going to do it she was frightened.
At a slow pace she inched forward towards the waves and the sand under her feet became moist. At the edge of where the land and ocean connected she buried her feet in the sand. Yumi slowly pulled herself into a sitting position and glanced down at the small holes forming in the ground after a wave crashed and the ocean water was being pulled back in. Slowly her wavering hand moved to the icy sand grasping a handful of it up and began to trail her index finger on the jagged edge of a broken clam shell submerged in the sand. Yumi now was simply keeping herself preoccupied while she waited and deep down hopped that the jounin decided to accompany her. Slowly she began to recollect the previous day’s events that turned her idea to train into going on a quest on the outskirts of Kirigakure.
Yumi fidgeted slightly readjusting her position so she could get a good view of the tables around her while she waited for her tea to arrive. She could see clearly the people eating a large meal across from her. This sight made her let out a soft sigh not because she wanted the food too but because the three young ninjas at the table had what she was still lacking. From there her glance diverted to the old man who was beckoning the waitress to get more drinks for his students. It was saddening that she was going to progress slowly till she could find a sensei of her own. At this point she wouldn’t have even minded too much if her sensei was male… it would be better than none.
After a few minutes the waitress appeared with her tea and placed it on the counter while giving Yumi a warm smile and asking if she wanted anything else. Yumi stayed silent but nodded no and began to fiddle with the cup testing the outside rim to make sure she wouldn’t burn herself by picking it up. Alone again she found herself watching the waitress go to serve the customers who had just walked in. Yumi knew it was considered rude to listen in on other peoples conversation she found herself compelled to listen in. “Surprising isn’t it? That some who is that good with swords would retire to a small island off Kirigakure instead of living it up here. If I had an interest in becoming a swordsman he would be the first one I would ask to train me.” The voice came from the scuffled looking ninja sitting further from Yumi. A grunt of agreement came from the man opposite of him. “I heard that everyone who was ever his student ended up as an amazing swordsman. It’s a shame he doesn’t just come to Kirigakure instead he stays on that neutral island where there aren’t any people with potential. Well not as much potential as I had when I first wanted to learn to wield a katana.”
The discussion continued to become increasingly like a bragging competition so Yumi attempted to drain out the words. Her eyes fell back on her neglected tea that seemed to be rapidly growing cooler. In one swift movement she brought the tea to her lip and sipped it quickly hopping to finish it off before she was stuck drinking cold tea. While chugging the tea the men’s conversation came back to her and she began to wonder if she could go find the swordsman and ask him to be her sensei. Yumi knew she would never be good with a sword since she could even muster the courage to purposefully injure her opponent. She was a long way from being able to run at someone with a sword with the intent to kill. Even in the academy she was known for taking down her opponents without injuring them and how she would find all different ways to restrain them to win the fight. If that wasn’t possible Yumi would forfeit and allow the opponent to win rather than injuring them to win. In some ways this had allowed Yumi to improve her strategy skills but doing this made her never learn to go at opponents with the intent to kill.
Learning how to wield a sword would be useless to Yumi if she wasn’t able to use it in battle. She began to give up on the idea as she lowered her empty tea cup to the mahogany table. The only way she could learn to use a sword would be if she could get over her own fear and she doubted the swords master would want to help her with something like that. Then it clicked in her mind that learning how to use a sword would be the same thing as learning to attack the opponent directly. In the process of learning how to master a sword she would be able to hopefully overcome her fear and this thought made her determined to find the man and get him to teach her. Retired or not Yumi was determined to convince the man to train her.
After paying for the bill for food she left the shop and headed into the streets flooded with people. She quickly stumbled through the crowed heading to the mizukage’s office to get permission to leave the village. Her actions were very spare of the moment and she hadn’t even told her family her plan yet. Yumi brushed through the crowed scrambling to squeeze herself past the citizens shopping and decided to travel on the roofs to save time. To avoid causing commotion in the crowed she found an empty street and began to focus chakra to her feet. Yumi then pushed off the ground using the chakra in her feet to give herself enough jumping power to reach the roof tops. The travel to the center of town was quick and on the way she planned out everything she would need to do before leaving to venture off from Kirigakure’s main land.
Within a matter of minutes the silver haired konoichi arrived at the front doors of the Mizukage’s office. The building towered over her casting a shadow on her which made her body significantly colder without the sunlight to warm it. She hesitated for a minute wondering who and how she was going to ask to leave Kirigakure’s mainland. Once she had finished mentally figuring it out she ran her nimble hand along the entrance door pushing it slightly. After gliding the wooden door open she stepped inside to find herself in a long hallway with many doors and a front desk in the lower right quarter. “Ummm… Wh-o would I talk to about leaving Kirigakure for a sh-ort peri-od of trai-ning….” Yumi spoke as loud as she could while approaching the counter but her loud was around the tone people normally spoke in. Pausing a few feet away she began to fidget with her clothing while waiting for a reply. “Oh? Head to the third door to the right and you should come across the Mizukage’s Aid. She will deal with things like that.” The woman stood up and pointed down the hall as she verbally explained the directions.
With a quick bow Yumi headed off to the office she was assigned to and nocked lightly on the door and then heard a voice commanding her to enter. She inched forwards and began to run her finger tips along the icy metal door knob till she flicked it open. Once inside her eyes darted around the room getting a overview of her surrounding before focusing in on a bony woman seated by the desk in the center of the room. Yumi turned to allow one of her hands to push the door she had entered from shut and glanced back up at the intimidating woman currently staring her down. Her heart beat increased as the woman shuffled her paperwork frowning and kept her gaze on Yumi. The silver haired girl’s voice hitched as she noticed the woman was still silently glaring at her and began to wonder if she should say something or if she had already done something wrong. The silence lingered answering Yumi’s question and she chose to speak up to break the awkward feeling that seemed to be growing rapidly. “Nnnh. H-ello… I a-m Yu-mi Koizumi a n-ew Kirigakure genin. I hope I am no-t disturbing you, bu-t I wanted to kn-ow if I coul-d get permi-ssion to leav-e Kirigakure’s Mai-n land. Ummm. I wanted to f-ind a man to tea-ch me ho-w to use a sw-ord from one of the neut-ral islands nearby….”
The seemingly strict woman adjusted her posture leaning on her two hands not saying anything but showing a face that allowed Yumi to know she was thinking. Yumi found herself shuffling her feet and was unable to stop making peculiar movements because of the anticipation that was building within her. When a voice broke the silence again it wasn’t her own but the woman in front of her and the sudden sound had sent Yumi back a few steps. With her back against the door she listened to the woman speak waiting to hear if she was able to go or not. “Hmm You’re a very nervous child, aren’t you…? Well, to leave Kirigakure as a genin you will need to get a Jounin or higher to accompany you. I know one or two who are free and I will personally ask them to meet up with you tomorrow at the Great Ocean. If the person I ask accepts you can expect them around noon if not then you will just have to come back and let me try to set up another Jounin to take you. Goodbye Yumi and Good Luck.” Once again Yumi had misread the woman by her looks when she actually seemed fairly nice. “Thank you and Good-bye.” Her voice was faint but the woman smiled and waved for her to leave and Yumi willingly did so. Just before closing the door behind her she returned the woman’s smile with a light hearted innocent one.
Noon was approaching and still there was no sign of the jounin who might escort her. It would be fine if he didn’t show right? It just meant she would have to continue to train by herself and though it was do able she dreaded the thought. Even though she had often sat quietly when with friends and never actually partook in any of their discussions it was different than being alone. Yumi might often give off the feeling of a loner but she had never consciously wanted to be. The way things were going currently was worse than at the academy because she was training all alone not even able to listen to her friends conversations for entertainment. Going off and getting herself a sensei would also serve for this purpose other than just helping her improve physically. Yumi sighed lightly and glanced back at the sandy dooms that lead up to the path leading straight into Kirigakure hopping soon her jounin escort had accepted.

| From the ocean a body sploshed. It crept up, from the infinite depths. Sandals pressing against the beach sands as a sword which was large and bandaged was strapped onto the back of a man. His clothing soaked, and the blade being as dry as it could ever possibly be. A man who was known as Ouroboros. He was of Dark-skin, and had purple lite eyes. His hair was wet now, but it was so obviously green and black. It fell over his face. Leaving it covered and moisturized. He also had strange gills on his neck, and razor sharp teeth. These being due to his race type. But he was no shark-breed nor was he a normal human. But a Hybrid or a Hybrid. The awkward son of an awkward life. Ouroboros was smirking his ass off now. Yep, uh-huh. He knew what it was. He walked forward. Feet smashing that sand more now. Ouroboros was no dumb bum, he was He had no idea what this girl was doing outside of the village, but nine times out of ten she was the female that he was supposed too meet here. But you could never be too sure. Especially due to transformation jutsu. He started the girl from up close. With a large teethy grin on his face. If she happened to turn around she would most likely get freaked out. "Hey there, Girly." He stated with an awkward vapor induced voice. |

| Yumi watched closely as the breeze scattered the sand making her squint her eyes trying to see through the particles floating in the air. The footprints she had left in the sand were long gone and still no new footprints of the jounin appeared. She sighed lightly and then noticed a splashing sound that was muffled by the wind. The sound was followed by a sound similar to someone walking in mud making her realize someone or something was approaching her from behind. Her heart raced with the new found hope that it would be the Jounin and turned quickly to make sure her suspension was correct. The man was completely drenched head to toe in water like he had just gone for a swim without removing any articles of his clothing. Her mind clicked on this and began to wonder if he was in the water all this time and how she hadn’t noticed him. At first glance that was all she noticed but when she paid attention to his physical features she noticed how he didn’t seem completely human because he had razor sharp teeth which were now gleaming at her. It definitely was frightening but she resisted the urge to crawl away from the figure approaching her. “Nnhnahh? H-ello…” She wasn’t completely sure if this was the man that they had sent to escort her but by his garments and weapon she figured he had to be a ninja. She was unsure if she should bring it up but not wanting him to think he had been mistaken and talked to the wrong girl she decided to ask. “A-re you the o… one they s-ent then… t-he jounin?” | |

| (Seeing as you have more then half the training done. Lets get to the point.) The man smirked as his eyes reverted in color. His gills sealing themselves up and his teeth rounding out. His features becoming more human as he growled and swore under his breath. The transformation was bullshit. It hurt a lot, and it burned into his body with the force of a great wildfire. But he got over the pain. Due to the fact that Ouroboros was used to the transformation state. It was all fine too him. He looked at the girl as he looked more human now. "Stop studdering. Annoying one aren't cha'? The name! IS! OUROBOROS! And you best make sure not to forget it girly. Now. I have come here to take you on a an escort so you can leave the village and such. But you know what. Screw the training. I bet you are in awe of the massive weapon on my back. Correct?. Well, I know where they are. I can take you there. Why am I doing this for you? Because I like how you didn't attempt to critize me for my appearance." He stated with a giant grin on his face. Yes. He knew the shortcut to the location of the Seven Swords. He was afterall the sole master of the Seven Swords of the Mist. He was the leader, and was in charge of their well-being. |

| (uhn okay =)? Hehn I got carried away the first post because there was so much to write lol...) Yumi’s eyes surveyed the man’s body noticing the abnormal features fading and his appearance become more like a humans. When his body began to revert back her body became relaxed and she found herself sitting up instead of in a slouching position. The calm feeling Yumi gave off didn’t last long and once he began to speak she immediately showed signs of being frightened. She slouched forward and lowered her head slightly so her hair hung blocking him from seeing her face. Then she clenched her fists tightly listening to him and accepting his complaints knowing they were the truth. She wasn’t going to complain since she was lucky he even agreed to come in the first place. Yumi inhaled a large sum of air and quietly listened to everything else he had to say. The men planned on skipping the training and just give her some weapon instead… That was one of the reasons why she had wanted to learn to use a sword in the first place but she wasn’t about to explain her logic to a Jounin she had just met. Then she stayed silent not because she didn’t know what to say but because she was afraid if she spoke she would find herself stuttering and be scolded again.
Slowly she built up confidence and exhaled air while attempting to calm the few small trembles that still rang threw her body. “Get a sword? Well… Okay.” She spoke softly and in short words knowing anything longer she would probably slip up and stutter. Yumi wasn’t completely sure what this all was about and figured she might have explained it the wrong way to the Mizukage’s Aid. She planned on learning how to wield a sword not go off to find one but it did seemed odd to learn how to use a sword even if you don’t own one. Perhaps she was the one to get the steps messed up. “Thank-you.” After speaking she lifted her head slightly so he could see her face again and did her best to force a warm smile to appear. It looked rather awkward but it still was a smile. She steadied herself and began to rise from the sand and it was fairly easy since the sand was wet and sturdy.

| Certain things in life were complicated. Certain things were simple. But all in all, the thinking of Ouroboros was far more on the complicated then what many would presume he had. That was fact. Ouroboros heard the girl studder more. It was kind of agitating. But he was smirking the entirity of the time. "Now, I know you wanted to come here to learn how to use a sword. But by the looks of it. Id slaughter you in one movement. They didn't skimp out on the teacher for you. But you see. Look at your petite........fragile......innocent....body. Oh I could.....Oh the things....BAH!" He yelled a bit as he felt his medical madness grow in duration. He looked at the girl and snapped his fingers. "Pay attention. I have not killed anyone in a week. Im on the edge. Don't be scared or you'll anger me. Now you will follow me now. Keep up or be left behind. I don't care either way." He grinned as he turned his back to the female. He looked around and began to run forward. His feet staying on top of that large body of water called the Ocean. His feet where connecting with its surface, and his body was moving like the ocean breeze. He was making tracks behind him. He was quite odd really. But his intentions where spot on. He was going to get her this new sword. Then he was going to train her how to use the sword, and how to weild that specific sword in combat. It was smarter then teaching her how to use some peice of shit Katana that would most likely break from the pressure of the Leviathans Claw. The sword that belonged to Ouroboros. He felt something about this girl. It was something along the lines of power. But it was like a minimal power. Due the cowardice this girl happened to hold. |

| While Yumi waited for Ouroboros to speak again she closely watched him smirk and it seemed to have the same effect on her as his transformation and talking had on her. She forced herself to handle it and tries to seem as calm and collected as possible. So she was going to learn how to use a sword then? That was good but it was a bit of a shook to hear she was going to have to sometime have Ouroboros lift a sword towards her to teach her instead of some old man. Yumi listened quietly as he spoke and understood at first what he was saying but the last few sentences left her bewildered. When he ended with yelling she had almost predicted he would and prepared herself though she wanted to retreat a few steps till the man calmed down. Instead she nodded quietly trying to keep her composure not to upset the man any more then he already was.
She watched him as he smiled and set off onto the water running out to sea. This definitely seemed peculiar compared to the other ninjas she had met since none of them had ever smiled after being so angry. At this point Yumi had decided the smile was a bad sign and that she should prepare herself whenever he made it. She hesitated for an instant before focusing chakra onto her feet and joining him in the ocean swaying slightly from the waves but she stayed afloat. Ignoring this she continued after him past the waves and regained her balance again allowing her to pick up speed so she wouldn’t lose him. “Er. W-here are we going?” She had the urge to ask for permission to talk but felt like it would have a worse effect than asking the question straight out.

| Ouroboros. Stopped. Looking forward. In the distance it seemed a mirage. The large island which only seemed but a hazy fogged class reflection. It was the Island in which all those men had lost their lives, where that mighty snake beast was mutilated, decimated, and cast aside like a husky carcus of somebeing that lacked value. Ouroboros had heard the female talk, and he felt her chakra. He turned around and stared at her. "Tell me. Do you know about the Seven Swordsman of the Mist?" He stated coldly. His eyes where placed soley on the female in front of his plane of sight. He raised his left arm slowly, his finger pointing outward at her as he gritted his teeth. He knew that deep down in his heart she obviiously had no idea who the Group was truely. IF she had to ask such an clearly redundant question. Ouroboros didn't give her enough time to react however. He had to go go go go go. So he motioned for the girl to come near him. "Give me your hand." He said so carefully. He was going to get to the destination in a flash. He knew that the female probably didn't trust him. Afterall her did appear a bit psychotic. But deep down, he felt as if this girl could perhaps be someone worthy of controlling a special blade that he had been attempting to find and owner for. |

| At first when Oroboros asked her a question instead of answering hers she figured he had purposefully brushed it off. Then she noticed in the horizon a small figure was appearing that seemed to be in the form of land making her realize that they were already there. She could tell the Seven swords men must have had some relevance with her acquiring a sword since he brought it up directly after she asked about where they were going. In her mind she repeated the question feeling like she had heard of it before and then remembered reading something about them. The seven swordsmen used to be a group of the most powerful swordsmen in Kirigakure. There were only a few things she could remember about them and she hadn’t heard anything about them recently. In Yumi’s opinion it wasn’t enough information for her to even say she knew anything about them other than the name. Before she could reply he had beckoned her to come closer and give him her hand. She stepped forward warily and lifted her hand in his direction so he could easily take it and while doing this took the opportunity to answer his question. “I h-ave only heard of the name…” While waiting for him to take it she clenched her free hand and eyed him trying to read his features for a hint of what he was planning on doing. | |

| Upon her hand making contact with his own he smiled. His eyes changing in shade and his muscles seeming to enlarge. He turned his head away from hers and let his arm gain length before lifting the girl over him and sending her flying towards the island at an undetermined speed. He was using body flicker. He used it a few times and arrived on the island before the girl could land. He was going to not turn around and grab her but he never aimed his throw so she ended up crashing into him, with his face slammed into the ground and his body twitching. She would be safe and unharmed possibly sitting on his back at that moment. The shrine was up the steps so he knew she knew where to go from here. But he mumbled the orders. "Gouuugoo Upsada thexsda Stairsasga!!!" He mumbled into the ground. |

| She was expecting the tight grip from the Ouroboros when he took her hand but following it she was lifted into the air. Before she could begin to pester the Jounin with questions she was thrown into the air and towards the island. Her eyes fluttered quickly making sure she wasn’t seeing things and she was really flying with nothing supporting her. It was an enjoyable feeling to have the ocean breeze brush past her but when she saw the features of the island becoming detailed the thoughts left her mind and were replaced by fears of what would happen when she landed. While squeezing her eyes shut she attempted to find the safest position to land on and when she felt gravity working against her and forcing her back to the surface she let out a small screech. “Ahhhnnss..?!?” Yumi continued for a few seconds despite already feeling the front of her body crash into something. It was hardly what she expected though it was soft, warm, and damp. She opened her eyes again to find her face muffled into the back of Ouroboros’s shirt and pulled herself up and cradled her legs slightly trying to determine what had just happened.
It only took a few seconds before the Jounin underneath her started to make sounds. Yumi wasn’t able to understand them fully and crawled of his back while he was in the middle of the first word of what he was saying. She tried to put together what Ouroboros was telling her but it seemed like he was just mumbling incoherently. While she sat next to him trying to decode what he had said she questioned if he really even meant anything by it. Maybe Yumi forced his head into the ground when she landed causing him to suffer some time of head damage. Yumi let her eyes travel along the back of his head trying to see if he was actually hurt but before she could move to help him up she figured out what he had said. “G-o up the next s-tairs?” The silver haired girl mumbled trying to confirm that she had heard the correct thing because it sounded as if she missed a few words or perhaps he forgot to say some. Quickly she stood and surveyed her surroundings trying to spot the stair case he was talking about and her eyes fell upon large stone steps leading deeper into the Islands forest and up to a shrine. It seemed like an easy task to get there by yourself but she turned back to Ouroboros and offered him a hand. “A-re you ok-ay… and do you mean go by m-yself?”

| He lifted himself up, and looked up at the young female. She seemed. Serene. How could this much kindness exist in the village of the Mist. How absurd. No matter. Suijin lifted the rest of his body up and stood up. Moving his jaw around as he popped it back into place. He scanned the island and his memories plagued him of what he had done here prior to this year. "I really need to pay attention." He muttered to himself as he looked over to the female who offered aid to him. "I said go up the stairs. I was going to catch up with you, but from here on out you go up the stairs. Talk to the man. He will give you what you came here for after you alone, slay the girl at the top of the mountain. Do not worry. She is just a reflection of all the evil that you lack. She will attempt to kill you. I suggest you do your best to not let that happen. Now get out of my face." He stated as he smiled at the female. His teeth obviously in pain but he did not cringe. He really hoped she could be able to take out that demonic spawn of her being. |
