Sword of Totsuka - 8k
Sunagakure. It was once known as one of the Five Great shinobi villages. Under the leadership of the Kazekage, the village had been through a lot. From all out wars to battles within the village itself, the sandy area had earned it's title as a Great village. But now it was no more than a lump of sand in the middle of the Wind country. It was sad to see the once great village now nothing more than a bunch of runes. But you couldn't help but think, that though there were great shinobi that originated from there, the village itself just wasn't strong enough. One step toward the village was taken as the overall view of it showed itself to be just as everyone said. The buildings were now nothing but crumbling monuments, something that one dare not touch for the fear of destroying it further. Everything that was once the beauty of Sunagakure was now a dump. The only things that remained the same were the strong winds that seemed to blow anyone who came near in the opposite direction and the rays of the sun which seemed to be a whole lot hotter than they should have been, even for a desert.
Another step was taken before the creation of a clone. You could never be too careful to make a backup plan. Shen Uchiha was, after all, nothing but a genin. A good one at that, if he didn't say so himself. There he stood, with blonde hair and blue eyes. No one ever saw him as a threat when they looked at him. He didn't seem like a competent shinobi, let alone one from the Uchiha clan. He pushed up his glasses as he looked at the runes in front of them. But he was much more than an Uchiha. He was an Iron shinobi. And he would prove himself to those who doubted him. His first step was to get the legendary weapon in which he heard was in this wretched place. He went one way as his clone went another to search for the Sword of Totsuka. It was said that it was a majestic sword that was able to put anyone under a permanent sleep. He had read that it was deep within the ruins of Sunagakure, guarded by a conclave of warrior monks. Nothing that he couldn't handle. He'd defeat them all if he had to. As long as it led him to the Grand Monk. At least, that was what had been told. He wouldn't be surprised if there was no Monk at all. But it was worth a try.
Shen walked through the gates, or at least what used to be the gates. Constantly looking around, he made sure to stay aware as he made his way to the center of the village. Why? Because he thought that was the ideal place to start when searching for things. Taking step after step he moved slowly through the shadows. waiting to see what he had come for. But he didn't get a chance to get there. Eyes opening wide, he moved out of the way of a swift kick that was headed for his head. Narrowing his eyes, he turned to see a bald man who seemed to be in robes. It must have been a monk. Getting into fighting stance, Shen smirked. Now this was going to be an adventure. The man attacked again. And he was fast! Shen began blocking and dodging as many punches and kicks as he could before he was overwhelmed, and a fist to the face sent him flying to the ground. "What do you want?" the man asked in a calm voice. Shen got up and gritted his teeth. This was one of the times when he wished he had his Sharingan. Maybe it could help him in his fight.
The clone was being as silent as possible. Hopping from rune to rune, it made its way towards the center of all of the sand. Not too long into its travel, the clone noticed some trouble nearby. It could have only been his creator, making a scene. He would have went to help, but the clone had a specific order to keep moving and find the boss monk. Staying low, the clone jumped over three men that seemed to be running towards the trouble. The plan was to carry on no matter what. To see out the Grand Monk and tell him what he was there for. He put his attention forward again and continued moving. Because like his creator, he took orders very seriously.
Shen was knocked back again, and he glared at the man that was in front of him. He had to admit, this monk was a worthy opponent, but he refused to say that this man was better than him. He was just having a rough start. Smirking, he flexed his fingers before speaking. Mister monk sir, I wish we did not have to fight, but since you leave me no choice, I guess i'm going to have to get serious. He had noticed something through his brief combat session. Though the man was significantly faster than him, Shen realized that his moves were very predictable. So if he could just keep up with the man for a couple of turns, he could defeat him. The monk gave an annoyed look and attacked once more, wishing the boy would just stay down. But this time things were different. The boy had a confidence that he hadn't had before. The man threw a right handed punch. Shen quickly swung his head to the left, missing the fist by inches. If he was correct, the man would attempt to kick him next. Just as he thought, a kick came next, and Shen blocked it with his forearm before giving the man a powerful kick to his ribs. The man's eyes opened in surprise as Shen took the opportunity to punch him in his temple with all of his strength, leaving him unconscious. "Sorry I had to do that," he smirked before looking up to a nearby sound. When he found the source of the noise, he cursed under his breath. There stood three more monks. He was going to get his ass handed to him.
The clone was now perched on top of the sturdiest building he could find. He looked at the building in the center of the village. It could have only been the old Kage's office. Out of all the other buildings, it was by far in the best condition. It looked as though it had been fixed recently. But that wasn't what kept him at bay. It was what was around the building. There stood ten more monks, all looking oddly alike, guarding the entrance to the building. Ad there was no telling how many were on the inside. The clone raised an eyebrow. This was not common behavior for a monk. They must have been guarding something very valuable. But the question was, how would he get in? Hi unasked question was answered as a loud boom was heard in the distance. The guards looked at each other, and h=before he knew it, eight of them were running towards the noise. The clone smirked. It seemed that the original was doing his part. Now it was time to do his. Standing up, he went through a string of hand seals before putting a ring around his mouth. A great ball of fire erupted from him. And he grinned at it shot towards the monks. They jumped out of the way, and the fireball slammed into the doorway. The clone quickly jumped off of the building and ran into the building before they could stop him.
Shen was not faring well with the three monks. To obtain it one must travel to the ruins, seek out the Grand Monk. He will tell you the legend of the sword, from then on you will have to seek out the sword in the cavern of the dead. Upon finding it you will notice it is nothing but a plain old rod. Take the rod back to the Monk. Once you tell him of your intentions he shall attack you using the power of the Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Armed Murder. You are too defeat and kill him. Take his blood and drip it into the sword. Once this happens train with the sword. Its power is to cut into an opponent, and send them into a Genjutsu that lasts the amount of turns equal to the difference of your intelligence to the opponents. However, if they have matching or lower intelligence, they shall be put into a coma lasting for all eternity. This must make contact with the opponents bare skin
