| A crisp cool breeze passed over the countryside, scattering sand and any loose material in its path. Wind was such a beautiful thing, it was not restricted to masses like the earth, or isolated pools like the water. Unlike those elements it could be anywhere. At any time the cool breeze that all seem to love and cherish on a hot day could turn on them in an instant. The winds that kicked up dust and chilled the skin could easily smash glass and shake the foundation of homes. It could cause a tree to sway melodically, but it could also take down the hardiest of structures. Natural calamities that no one can hope to stop. The original Kirigakure nin knew that once everything they knew was swept away by the tsunami.
The young Chuunin stood in the summer sun with nothing on but his headscarf with the Kaiyougakure forehead protector attached to the fabric and his pants. He was not foolish enough to leave himself unarmed so he kept his weapons in their place. The sword Chikyu no Aibu rested loosely on his lower back and his Kusari-Gama strapped to the thigh with the chain wrapped firmly around his right arm. The ten foot long chain hung slack when the arm rested at the side, but it would not get in his way. In reality it made an extremely effective last second defense mechanism.
Tzura turned himself to face the ocean and placed his palms together with the elbows flared out, his mind passively scanning for any significant chakra signatures while he began to channel. The ground around him began to shift and plants withered as the carbon was sucked away from them, forming small beads of graphite. The beads would swirl around the chuunin and even his breath added to the collection of graphite. He was removing the 'carbon' element from the carbon dioxide in his breath and those only increased the amount of graphite beads around him. It took very little energy to maneuver the material once it was formed and the only real channeling he would need is removing the carbon from the organic matter around him. With a subtle smile he examined the small amount of destroyed plants around him and with a soft but audible voice said, "I humbly thank you for the matter I cruelly stripped from your frame. But with every flower that withers, another flourishes."

| Walking down the side of the beach side was a boy. Zone, as he call's himself, was getting done with an afternoon of nothing but non-stop boredom. The silver haired boy walked with no destination, his blackish blueish clothes swaying against his body as he walked. The sun glaring down into his eye's made him squint a bit. He didn't mind though. In this village of Ocean, there was only two types of days. The sunny ones and the gloomy ones, which brought rain and other types natural plagues that seemed to wash over the village. The boy looked down and sighed. He already trained past the limit of this week, and now had nothing better to do. The day was beautiful, and the air relaxed him. With each step he took, he felt the warmth of the day passing through him. It was the perfect day to do something... only if he had something to do. Zone walked with both of his hands on the back of his head, his elbows sticking straight out either way of his head, looking up into the sky letting his thoughts ease and letting his mind relax. Something he rarely ever did. It was because of this day, that he urged the notion to train. Practice practice practice. Thats what was on todays topic in Zone's mind.
Zone was spacing off into the sky, when he notice a man standing on the beach. Zone looked over the guy. He didn't look crazy tough, maybe Zone could stop his boredom and get something going. Zone walked up to the guy, his hands still behind his head, and looked down. He noticed that the plants all around him were dead. He took that into note, and greeted the guy. "Hey, whats up? My names Zone." He got down to the point of things, he wasn't the best of greeters. "What's your reason to come out here? Its boring as hell for me, so I decided to come say hi to you." Zone looked at the man with drawn out eye brows and his chin held high, his eye's touching the rim of his lower eye lids. With his hands holding his head, he waited for a reply. There wasn't to much to do today, so he thought he would try to make some friends.

| Once approached, the hands that were pressed together quickly formed the serpent seal and a sharp crack was heard as something unexpected but quite useful happened. The beads of graphite that danced in the sunlight was subject to immense pressure cause by chakra the instant he was approached by the unknown ninja and the composition was changed from that of a stacked slate to a crystal structure and slammed together, forming a 360 degree barrier around him. The layer was thin enough at his eye height [6'1"] and he was able to see the one who walked up to him. He took note of his appearance and most importantly, the Ocean forehead protector he had on. With a small smile he dispersed the barrier into glittering dust
"A pleasure to meet you Zone. My name is Tzura." he said, "I'm here for the same reason, actually. I normally don't speak with people so I come out and enjoy the scenery while honing my techniques. You can't get stronger if you don't practice you know?"

| Zone cracked a small smile. He already found someone with something in common. "I'm the same way, I know how you feel. There's rarely anybody that I can talk to and hold a conversation with. Everyone is either to cocky or just get on my nerves..." Zone said, as he looked at all the glittering dust that caught the sun just right. That looked like a pretty impressive technique. He looked down at the ground and noticed all the dead plants again. Tzura did something to them that intrigued Zone. If it wasn't Tzura that did that to them, then it was pure chance that all the plant life around him was dead. Zone looked back up to Tzura, with a puzzled non-chalant look. "Hey, what was that technique you just did? I've never seen anything like it." Zone hoped the guy didn't get offensive. He might be using secret jutsu that is his clans oldest tricks. If they were, he didn't mean to offend. Zone himself had a little of a secret himself. The power of the Souryoku clan. They were extinct, atleast that's what he thought. Zone shifted his hands on the back of his head and glanced back over to the dust that was blowing away with the wind. That looked like a formittable defense. He would have to find out what it is. Zone didn't notice that the guy was a little bit taller then him, having to look up to him. Zone smirked in his head. I don't think I've ever look up to somebody... he kept his corny jokes to himself, and waited for the guys reply. | |

| A small chuckle escaped his mouth and said, "I'm glad that I actually have something in common with someone else now. People generally don't want to speak with me since I have nothing of true value to say to them." Tzura noticed that Zone took an interest in the dead vegetation around them and then asked about his technique, "Carbon Manipulation. I won't go into large detail, but it does make me quite useful at close and long range." He gestured at the dead plants around him and continued, "This is what happens when I take from organic life forms, they tend to wither and die. It's a sad thing to be honest, but I am thankful for their matter." | |

| Zone pondered on what he sais. Carbon? This was a class he must have missed. Could you really control something that made up pretty much everything in the world? Zone was very interested, but didn't know how to say it. Zone would just go with the "head first" way. "Really? Can you make large amounts of it?" He put his arms down when he said this. Zone wasn't trying to interrogate the guy, Zone knew little of other bloodlines. He thinks he has one. At least that's what his arms and body tell him. Being tattoed in kanji's from feet to chest he would at least say he had something. "Could you rip the carbon out of my body?" He bent in a little bit, being a little naive, wanting to hear what he would say. Zone wasn't used to talking to to many strangers, but seeing as he was a ninja now, he was trying to build some social skills. Skills that he probably already had. Zone thought that the variable of this equation, the plants, was just a affect of his abilities. Which had to be done. He wasn't a enviromentalist, he really didn't care. If he had the same ability he would do the same. What this guy had was unique and drew Zone in. He kept his distance, but wanted to know more. | |

| Tzura's brow furrowed slightly once Zone continued asking for details about his bloodline, "Is this curiosity or an interrogation?" He took a step back and gestured to the area around him, "This is the last question I'm going to answer about bloodlines okay?" He didn't mean to sound rude, but for all he knew the person speaking to him could take the info and use it against him later, "Yes it can get too big for me to manage safely, and I have never tried removing it from another human before. But in theory I could if given enough time. It is much easier taking from something that will not resist like plants and rocks that contain carbon; but something like an animal would resist without a doubt." | |

| Zone, feeling he went a little to far, backed off a little. He was young and a bit naive to the ninja world. He wanted to know everything and be able to answer anything. He would try to change the subject. "That's impressive. I would never think something like that existed. You could use that in a lot of ways. I'm curious about what you did. I like learning about different bloodline's, its a small hobby of mine. Zone looked at his arms. "Ever since what happened to me, its more like reassurance. Hopefully one day I can find an answer." Zone looked back at Tzura. "Hopefully I can learn something before the chuunin exams. Are you entering?" Zone didn't know if the guy was entering or not. Hopefully he could be on a team before the chuunin exams. He didn't have anybody in his corner yet. He actually hadn't remembered most of his fellow genins. It was a small class anyway. He would probably be the only genin from Kaiyougakura to enter the chunin exams. At least that's what he knew. He hadn't been told anything anyway. Oh well. Wonder if this guy knows anything about the exams and that would tell me how much time I have to train. Maybe he could get this guy to have a small spar with him, even though he might be stronger then him. | |

| Tzura relaxed slightly once Zone backed off a bit and his small but genuine smile returned, "Some say that knowledge is power. But you should go about subjects with a more subtle touch at times." Once the genin fully explained his situation, Tzura nodded in return and rattled the chain wrapped around his arm, "I don't know much about the Chuunin exams coming up, but I have already passed to Chuunin level. If you would like I can spar with you. Would you like to go hand to hand with weapons or do you want to include jutsu as well?" As he awaited the answer he removed a white slip of paper from his pouch and kept it palmed in his right hand.

| Zone looked at the man with a smirk on his face. Its like the guy read his mind or something. "Sure, we can spar... how about with jutsu, just no death blows. Weapons are allowed to." Zone felt for his weapons pouch, which was on his right belt pouch. Zone was probably going to lose, but against someone that's already a chuunin, well, it would be more gauging of his strength. Tzura was probably 2 x more experianced then himself. Zone had to get mentally prepared a bit, but none of it leaked out onto his face. Zone looked at the flowers that were withered, dead or dying, and looked back up to the man. "And no carbon stuff either. Unless you have to of course." Zone didn't have death on his mind for Tzura, but if it gets ugly he was going to have to do what he has to do. He smirked again happily, and hopped back about 3 meters back. "I'm ready when you are! Zone took out a kunai. This was a way better way to spend the day then walking around feeling bored. | |

| Tzura nodded once Zone hopped back and with a quick flick of his right wrist the sickle attached to the ten foot chain lashed out like a coiled snake to the left of Zone at his own rib height. He wasn't aiming for a direct hit, rather he meant for it to pass by him and hook around. Once the blade was out of his hand he rapidly formed hand seals and stared directly at the forehead of his opponent, "Heated Soul!"- Spoiler:
Magen: Onsui Tamashii [Demonic Illusion: Heated Soul] Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Description: The opponent suddenly feels very hot, enough to make them sweat uncontrollably and as a result make their weapons harder to grip and control properly. (I.E. If you're from somewhere cold, it will pose a problem but if you're from somewhere hot it won't do very much.) Duration: 1 post.

| Zone watched the man throw out a chain and started to calculate in his mind. But before he could act, a split second to soon, he suddenly felt very hot. What's happening? Zone blinked, on half of a split second to react. He decided unconsciously that he would have to push through the heat, as he threw a kunai at the chain. It didn't hit exactly where he wanted it too, but he it got the job done. He had just enough time to duck and run/crawl under the chain. He gained balance and his body lifted up as he gained balance. He did handseals quickly. "Great Fire Ball Technique!" After holding the seal at Tiger, he put his index finger and his thumb up in an open o form. He then spewed out a large fireball. This size of a fireball was pretty moderate, defiantly not as big as he could actually get it to go, but it would defiantly throw a wrench in the beginning of this match. Then he did another set of handseals while the fireball gave him cover. Crow Clone Technique... | |

| Tzura cursed under his breath when his weapon was avoided but instead of retracting the blade but into the ground, lodged right behind Zone. Then a fireball was launched in his direction. Without much margin to dodge, he quickly formed handseals and added carbon to the air around him, as the diamond dust was still present in the air around them both. This allowed him to take that carbon and add it to the oxygen in front of the flames, choking it before it could char him. A close call. He then rapidly formed hand seals and detached the chain from his arm before quickly sinking into the ground below, the hole created instantly closing. | |

| Zone watched his fireball disentigrate infront of Tzura. How'd he do that? He was going to have to ask later, but noticed that the man quickly fleed underground. Shit. This wasn't in his gameplan. Zone looked around and got into a ready stance. He didn't know where the guy was going to come from. Zone took out another kunai, clutching it in hand to get ready for a sneak attack. Zone looked over at the guys chain that was laying limply on the ground. "Hmm..." Zone bent down quickly and picked up the chain. It was somehow stuck behind him, but that didn't matter to him right now. He would just wait for the guy to attack. "That's a pretty nifty trick you got there. I'm going to have to learn that some day. Zone tried to hear something, smell something, something that would help him locate where Tzura was. He hated playing guessing games in the dark. | |

| (OOC: Okay, so what I just set up for was Double Suicide Decapitation, otherwise known as Headhunter Technique. Since you didn't move from your spot, I'm going to call a hit.)
Suddenly the hand of Tzura rocketed from the earth below Zone and gripped him by the ankle, pulling him neck deep into the ground effectively trapping him. Due to the fact that he would be compressed by the dirt that surrounded him any handseal or escape attempts would be rendered useless. Once his target was immobilized, Tzura rose from the ground in front of him with his arms folded and a small smile on his face, "I could have blown your legs off earlier." he said, pointing the the Kusari Gama attached to the chain right behind him, "The slip of paper that I pulled from my pouch was an explosive tag and if you watched carefully that same hand was the one that threw the chain and blade at you in the first place. It's those extremely small details that you need to watch out for. The rustling under the cloak of a shinobi could be them preparing for handseals. The message you overlooked the start of a powerful genjutsu. It's always the minor details that can save your life, or end it."

I activated the crow clone technique before you went underground. Plus you never specified where your explosive tag was, unless I again over looked it.)) When the man tugged away at Zones ankle, he indeed pulled something down. But by the time Tzura would have noticed it wasn't Zone, it would be to late to late. When the man resurfaced to tell Zone he had holes in his defense, a flock of crows would fly into his face. Zone, now being behind the man, did a couple of handseals and put his finger up to Tzura's throat to simulate a kunai. "I think I got you." Zone smirked a friendly smile. What would Tzura do now? He probably didn't see his handseals he formed behind the fireball technique he did. Zone had to keep sharp still, he knew this guy was more then just simple tricks. He had to have an arsenal. The chain was a example of what he had up his sleeve. "So did I win?"Jutsu Used Crow Clone Technique

Because it uses crows as a medium, it requires less chakra than the normal Shadow Clone Technique, while still being able to perform techniques. The dozens of crows come together to form the body of a clone. When the chakra projected by the user is severed, the crows disperse, though the user is still able to continue to speak through it.' | There was va slushing sound as Tanoth walked onto the scene of the two shinobi sparring. It would be ibteresting to join in would it not? Tanoth shrugged and walked forward, leaving wet footprints that dried immediately. One shinobi was caught in what looked like a head hunter jutsu. Tanoth chuckled a bit. He stoid a few yards off, the transformation jutsu still in effect.
"mind if i join?"
Tanoth called out. He waited for a reply from the two.

| Tzura nodded and stomped the ground in front of Zone, shooting him from his neck deep prison. The hole created closed right back up and Tzura pulled the chain tightly and shook it once in order to remove the blade from the ground. Once freed he swung it around and the chain coiled around his arm once again while the sickle was re-attached to his right thigh. Another shinobi (Tanoth) approached the two who had just wrapped up their sparring session (Tzura and Zone) and asked if he could join. The chuunin took note of the footprints left by this ninja who stood approximately five yards away and turned to face him; his smile faded, "Do you mind if I get your name first?" he said. His right hand rested at his side and the left on his hip, "I don't mean to be rude; I just think we should get the formalities out of the way in the beginning, you know?" | |

| Zone was shot out of the air like a push pop being powered by a v8 engine, and hit the ground with a soft tap. He admits, he messed up, but there's always room for practice and Zone as only going to get better. He was about to say something, putting his kunai away in a pouch and looking at the newcomer, he smirked. "Well, I'll introduce myself. My names Zone. What's yours?" Zone said warmly. He wanted the new guy to come train aswell, like they say, the more the marryer. Zone looked back to Tzura, smirking almost like it. Was evil. Zone didn't have any intentions of trying to kill the man, nor did he have any evil intentions here, he was just having fun. "Were going to have to fight again, and next time I won't go so easy." He almost laughed, but remembered that there was a new guy here. Zone walked over by where his other kunai was, picked it up and put it in his pouch. He then turned around and waited for someone to reply. Today was going to be eventful. "Hopefully" | |

| Tanoth looked at the two, his hat covering most of his head. If he fought his transformation would break. But he needed people to like him for who he was. Shrugging, tanoth smiled, showing razor sharp teeth, and spoke.
"My name is Tanoth, it is a pleasure to meet you two."
Tanoth walked forward just a bit. He wasnt sure what the two would think or do. Hoping for the best Tanoth shrugged, getting his weapons ready.

| A cool breeze. A warm sun. A mothafuckin' beach. Could things get any better? Indeed they could for this all too boring image presented was enlivened by the battle, friendly albeit, between two men; vanilla versus chocolate. But as if their battle had not been interesting enough someone decided to throw in some sushi to the fray as a third one appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. The conversation between them was lost to the ears of this man, Law, as he sat upon one of the very many dunes upon that beach. In his hands he held the sword he had acquired recently- the sword of kusanagi, and he was just dying to try his hand at it. After all, how much practice could you get hacking away at a tree. From fifteen meters away. Indeed, the legendary blade with the ability to extend along its length had yielded to its new master, who now brandished it in his strong right. There was a sudden movement along the surface of the sand as Law's form seemed to fade away as he materialized closer to those three, roughly ten meters away from ebony and ivory, further away from le fillet though focusing on him for the moment. "Excusez-moi de l'intrusion, mais je crains que vous allez avoir à mourir." he spoke, directed at those formerly present while he cocked his arm straight up, perfectly perpendicular to the ground. Chakra would began flowing into his arms, strengthening his muscles for some heavy-lifting. "If you didn't get it, it means..." and his arm descended in an arc-like motion, the blade having extended to meet the form of latest arrival with the intention to bifurcate him in half, "... DIE!". | |
