When the little fireball of energy known as Kaiya was born, she was thrust into a family that was dominated by men. There where few to little females in this clan, but they where all extremely manly, and from the distance, one would not be able to tell the females from the males. It was a very awkward site to behold. As many situations displayed themselves in front of the young girl, and she handled them all in a manner that was typical for a male. She would get in fights at the academy, and be in trouble for beating the shit out of people. She gained a bunch of respect for this however. Her tale of power would be told at a respectable pace. But this pace was nothing bias by a long shot. It was the middle of spring and the birds seemed to chirp for an unrealistically long amount of time. Swooping down and diving into nearby fields, causing joy and happiness to spread like a plague. The snow still seemed to fall here, despite the good nature that seemed to clasp a dominance over everyone here. Nothing was out of place here. In this serene location.
The tea kettle in which her mom stored their fresh water seemed to be chirping upon the stove-top oven, dancing about it without a care in the entire world. There where no people here, in this house. They all seemed to be about the town, playing, learning, studying the ways of the shin-obi. However, there was one person in this family who seemed to be sitting outside. In a massive rocking chair, pacing the up and down motion repeatedly. Causing the sound of creaking floors to hum out at a high range. Slowly that chair creaked, as Papa laughed. The rather large and formidable man would open his lips, and words of authoritative excellence would seem to brew endlessly from his voice box. Ringing across the massive clan house, and causing anyone within the radius of that massive authoritative voice to stand at attention. The sounds of displeasure seemed to have radiated before a false sense of happiness took over. Father was truly insane.
"Come, take a seat my children. I have a story to tell all of you. It is of a powerful weapon that has been hidden away by a village that was conquered years ago."With a large smirk upon his face, his children would line up and assemble themselves before the man of power. From the shortest to the tallest they came, ignoring age all together. Unfortunately for Kaiya, she was still the runt of the little, be it by age or otherwise. She would sit down, her back pressing against the wooden railings. Her eyes intent and focused up at her father, she would wait as her other five siblings took their places upon that patio. Each one sitting in their own unique fashion, ready to hear the tale that papa was speaking. Papa was no small fry, and he was certainly no little push-over shin-obi. He had been around the block a few times in his life and was a very determined shin-obi. The clan had a unique ability to use sound jutsus, and they where amazingly gifted in the art of using wind and their own chakra in order to make a combination of delicate and intricate jutsu. With this being stated, the importance of this tale in which he would tell his six children was beyond that of any that had ever been conceived in the past.
The fathers name was Gale, he was the clan leader and was the age of fifty-seven. He was a burly fellow, with a lumber jack bear, and curly hair that reached down too the small of his back. His hair was white in color and his skin was pale. Almost a sickly ghost of a hue. It was nothing too scandalous, but it was noticeable to say the least. He was rather built, like one of those famous body builders. It was a site for sure. Something that could be mistakenly seen as intimidating. All that mattered, the story.
"A long time ago, the Ototsukai clan, had been dabbling in some research with our clan. Attempting to create the perfect weapon for the joint world wars efforts. We basically had to make a weapon that had the power to convert the many sound jutsu that our clans held and turn them into powerful redirected clan jutsu. Something to help amplify our already immense powers so that we could swing the tide of the war fully. It would be one of our greatest contributions possible to the efforts of our joint nations. So we began researching the properties of the blade."He paused.
"You see, we had to find a type of metal that could be a good conduit for the wind currents that we preform on a regular basis from our shared knowledge. As we all understand, sound jutsu is not something common, and the fact that we are able to convert our wind jutsu into sound based jutsu is proof enough that we already where profiting from our capabilities. Now we had found the metal we needed in order for this experiment to work out. It was a rare type of steel which seems to channel wind chakra." He looked at his kids, analyzing their expressions with a large and prominent grin upon his face he could not help but to smile at those before him. He continued,
"This blade was known simply as the Kamigouzenmoui. It is the single most important artifact in the history of our clan. You all have never heard about it, because of the importance it holds to the adult half of our clan. You see. This blade is the single treasure that was created specifically to make the fury of the sound gods be known to the world" He spoke with tact.
Kaiya heard the words of her father, and she listened to him carefully. Respecting every single word that flowed from his veins. However, she didn't care about this family heirloom. She knew that there was a different weapon, that her brother spoke about quite often that would send her to be one of the most respected members of her family. She didn't want anyone else to attain this great power, she refused. She would rather die by the hands of her own family then to shun its sheer magnitude. Though the sword, the tuning fork, was considered a powerful item and was the one she wanted more then anything else in the entire world. She was told to promise her brother that she would reclaim the blade that belonged to him. Deep in the Land of Iron, there was a smaller land called the land of mines. His treasure would be there. However, the emperor of Iron would never let anyone enter the land of mines because it was the main storage for all the other weapons that existed in the entirety of the land of iron.
(Seven Years Later) The time had come for Kaiya to finally set out of her house. Which was her main goal all along. She was free, finally to be what she always wanted. A traveling shinobi. Being a Samurai for the bull-headed emperor was the last thing on her to-do list. The to-don't list actually. She hated that man. For six years he had raised the taxes of his empire, causing the smaller villages to be starved and exhausted. That man had little pity on anyone who existed under his rule, and for that reason he had to pay. Dearly. His life was nothing but a stepping stone on the monument of the great Shogun Mizukawa. She had been hearing news of a factions who intentions where to overthrow the fascist dictator, and establish a more reasonable style of rule. Now, originally she never cared about this group until her family was stripped of their status and casted down to be in a lower class. All of her families progress was wasted, all because of a old, dying, selfish fat man, with a ball-sack on his chin. His name, Emperor Dao Gatto.
However, there was one thing about this disgusting excuse for a man that was admirable. He was skilled with a blade, and slew nearly two-thousand warriors who had attacked his palace three years prior. He was a man of great strength, and for that she commended him. But that was as far as her admiration went. She was not idiot, this fat sack of a man was going to pay one day. This was a fact, this was a law, this was all she knew and cared about. She could remember the tears in the eyes of her father when her shrine was closed down. His stark and dark pride was enough to resonate any soul that got in its pathway. She would reclaim the honor of her father one way or the other. It made little difference to her, she knew that her dad would be proud. She rose up from where she was, and bit her lip. She knew that it was time to go join the organization that would promise the demise of that nut-sack maniac. It was something that was quite precious really. Maybe on this day they would correct that balance that was cut so long ago. Perhaps, maybe, they would be able to command this revolution.
She would start out making her way to the city of thorns. It was a massive complex, and seemed to house numerous swordsmen and cutthroats. It was like home. Kaiya was no fool, she intended on getting her job up to specification. She asked around the city for awhile, collecting data stream upon data-stream. Until she was able to find the location in where they recruited people of her experience and flare. After much training, she was sent on a few missions, in which she gladly murdered anyone who they deemed a target. Following orders and doing what she wanted in order to survive. She was no fool. She knew all along that most of the people they attacked where loyal to the man she wanted dead. That was reason enough to murder them all. After a few months, she had been elected into the ranks of a high Lieutenant, able to lead a squad of nearly 300 men to go conquer villages. This would be her first mission out. She had to prove she had what it took to be the one who could run an entire fleet.
Here, on this fine day, the amount of decaying flesh was starting to pulse into the air. The land of Iron was under siege. But not by some invading asshole ninja. But rather a rival force of Samurai known only as the Ryokushoku no hachisu. The Green Lotus. They swept across most of the land of iron with much force, causing for the Land of Iron to hire mercenaries in order to fight back the invading forces. This being said however, it was not long until the Green Lotus members did the same. The war had lasted for quite some time, however it would all reach its cataclysmic end on this day. In this small village known as Shupīsu. Both sides waited on each end of the battlefield, waiting and watching. Eyes focused clearly and spontaneously. Fighting for the Land of Iron, stood two figures that where not known to Kaiya, she had betrayed that land, and is now on the side of the Green Lotus. She sit upon her horse, adorn in her usual dress. Waiting as her eyes focused forward. A glee filled look upon her face as she picked up her blade. Screaming could be heard, as forces from the north seemed to be fast approaching. Causing death and destruction wherever they went.
