Name: Carbon Manipulation
Clan: Kazuma
Element: Carbon (Wind/ Earth)
Appearance
Description:
The user pulls the element of carbon from the organic substances around them in order to form weapons, projectiles, and even armor. Without a sufficient amount of time to channel (Say, 1 post) the user can create a number of projectiles made from graphite. Why graphite? That is because graphite is nothing but carbon it is just layered in a different way. Each carbon atom is layered so that it can slide off when dragged across a flat surface (Such as paper). Because graphite is such a simple and very brittle substance it is fairly useless to use as armor and real weapons, but that isn't to say that it can't save a life in close situations. Say, if a person were to stab at the user from close range, the graphite could slow the strike just enough to make it so the would created is significantly smaller than the one they would have received without that defense. Once the substance is made, it can remain there since unlike water, diamond and graphite can stand on their own without the aid of chakra unlike intangible objects such as wind or water. Once out, they can be manipulated by the user once again without the channeling sequence needed to draw carbon from the organic matter.
Another way this can be used to aid the user if they happen to be adept in wind ninjutsu, they can effectively choke out their opponent by adding carbon to the CO2 around them. This would go unnoticed by the target because they would simple feel drowsy as their lungs can 'breathe' but no oxygen will reach the brain. This is also extremely useful in dissipating or strengthening fire ninjutsu by adding the carbon atom to the oxygen in order to stop it in its tracks or removing it to make the attack stronger.
