The Blood Mist [Private: Kirigakure Nin Only]

Dante walked toward the center of the village. He carried the remains of the past kage of kirigakure. A head in one hand, and a body in the other that dragged along the ground. The entire village seemed damage from its previous attacks. But that would no longer be an issue with the new official power coming. Dante would view all of the wreckage, making a mental note of what it would take to renovate and rebuild. Much would be needed to be done, but with the cooperation of the villagers it would take no time.

At the center of the village was a large bell. This bell was used for community callings. Sure enough the villagers would need to know that they could come out without fear again. Dante kicked the bell, causing it to ring loudly for quite awhile. Enough time to alert every villager and ninja within the lands. He would then stand atop a high point in the center plaza, to deliver his message to the people.

Many villagers crept out from their hiding places and shelters. There was a loud buzzing of talk amongst them as they all came to see a familiar face. They all seemed rather confused and even startled. None would have expected the return of Dante. The one who had left this village and its weak ways to join the Seven Swordsman. They didn't know what to think at this point. All they could do is wait to see what he had to say.

Once all gathered in this grand centered plaza, Dante would begin his speech. "Welcome my people. Its been quite sometime since I've seen most of you. Many old faces and many new ones. I have called you all here to deliver some good news. The weak ways of your past leader will carry on no more. For I have returned and take place as Kage. No longer will this village be underestimated and pushed over. I will make these lands strong, like they once were before these weak rulers took power." he said strongly so all could hear. Dante then held up the headless body of the former kage. Loud gasp and shocked cries could be heard throughout the vast crowd, an expected response. Following that he raised the head that belong to the body, accompanied by another shocked response.

"Yes people, this is your former leader. As you all can see, his weak ways of clinging to life are not fit for this world. Nor are they fit to impose onto you all as a way of survival. We need to take claim the power of ourselves and use it as protection. The strong will survive, as the weak fall to their own shortcomings. With me as your leader, this village will become stronger than it has ever been before." he said strongly again. He would pause for a moment, allowing this to set into their minds. Three attacks made against the village in a short about of time. How could they not see that something needed to change. A few claps and shouts began to stir about while some were rather silent or against it. Dante didn't care, they all had no choice. This was something that was going to happen whether they wanted to or not.

"The first thing to take place is the renovating of the village. We must reconstruct what has fallen. And improve what stands. Our defenses need to be strengthend, while our offenses grow as well. Let us all work hard and create a bigger and better village. Let us go forth from this point and make ourselves stronger than ever before. " he spoke. The crowd was now sold. The voice of empowerment made them want change. They no longer wanted to live in fear of outside attacks. They wanted to be recognized for their strengths, just like he. Dante smirked with their applause and cheer. That would be when a few of the ninja forces that were around flickered near him on his platform. They were promising their loyalty, as they knelt before him. They too knew that what he spoke was truth.

"Once our village is rebuilt. We shall return to the old ways of training our young ones. We need to make our ninja strong and let them use their strength to its full potential. We have let the outside criticism of our teachings affect our main force for too long. We need to do things our way, the way they were meant to be done. I speak of, the old Blood Mist exams. Yes, that is the way to truly bring forth strength in our village. Only the strong survive, as the weak fall." he said coldly. This caused a slight shift the the crowd's behavior. They were becoming a little bit more skeptical but still wanted to see themselves get strong. So they applauded, though not as strongly as before.

"Our power will be recognized once again. We will be strong, our children will be strong, and their children will be strong. Let it be known that this is no negotiation, but a declaration and reformation. All that agree, grow strong with us. All that oppose, die before us. This will mark the rise of a new power. No longer will be go simply by 'The Mist Village'. No, we shall be known as 'The Blood Mist'." he said coldly and strongly. The crowd applauded and cheered, they new change had finally came. He held up the remains of the former kage once more. "Let this mark the end of the past era, and the beginning of a new one." he said, handing the remains to one of the ninja before him. He would tell the man to post the body up on a stake in front of the gates, the head on a seperate stake in front of it. This would be a symbol to the new era during the renovations. It would be taken down not long after, due to it probably causing a foul stench.

With the speech made, and his title as Kage claimed. Dante would turn from the crowd and head somewhere on the lands where he could keep watch as things reformed. His hunger for power slightly satisfied with his new claim. Yet he would need more sooner or later.

Once the large bell in the center of the Kirigakure village was struck, its ring resonated for miles until it fell upon the ears of Tzura. There were only two reasons why that bell wound be sounded; the village was in immediate danger, or great news was to be heard. The chuunin wasted no time in sprinting from his grandmothers house all the way to the gates of the village. Thousands of people that were hidden in the rubble began to crawl from their holes to the sound, like sheep to the shepherd and instead of following the group, he dashed across the tops of what few buildings remained until he reached the front of the rather large gathering of survivors after the recent attacks.

The man at the center of the commotion was a new face to him; he had no idea who he was and his eyes were shrouded by a white hood, his cloak stained with blood. However by the way it rested there, Tzura doubted that it belonged to the new shinobi. His eyes widened slightly as Dante announced himself the new Mizukage and held up the severed head of the former one, one of his only friends, Akki Tenma. Suddenly he felt sick to his stomach but eventually as the speech went on, the feeling passed.

Not only was the new man a powerful being, he also proved himself as an orator; his words of bringing Kirigakure to its former glory uplifting the originally frightened and demoralized shinobi and the village erupted with cries of joy and triumph. As he could not body flicker, Tzura instead leaped from his place in the crowd and landed on the platform in front of Dante, kneeling like the other shinobi, "The blood that I spill will be for my village and for you Lord Mizukage."

Then there were words spoken that he wished that would never be heard again; the village of Kirigakure would retake its name as the Bloody Mist in order to weed out the weak and allow the strong to surface. However, this feeling of hesitation passed once the people applauded and he kept his head bowed until he was handed the body of the former kage and his 'Brother' Akki. Once he received the corpse held back the coming grimace and nodded once told to place it up on a stake at the front of the village; a symbol to show the end of Kirigakure's weakness.

Tzura turned and descended from the platform, and the people cleared a path for him, taunting the corpse while he carried it to the gates.
