As you may or may not know, you can get jutsu by simply having them taught to you.

Well to make the RP more life like, all Jounin MUST have at least ONE student, or risk loosing your Jounin rank. Special Jounin can also have students, but it is not required.

Students are Genin and Chunin ranked ninja.

But relax, having a student and being active will help you AND your student rank up as well as qualify you for extra points for helping your village.
