Destination nowhere

Izanagi kept on moving with Dante following him as expected. The idea was to get to Konoha and investigate. And even as they made their approach to the forest, they were confronted by roaming un dead. They were taken cared off rather easily and very effectively too. Izanagi landed on the forest floor and glanced around the area for a few moments. There were several disturbing noises in the far distance. This wouldn't deter Izanagi from proceeding any further, but something else could. Izanagi's attention was momentarily directed onto a messenger bird. A message was sent to the swordsman, a summon if you will. This meant he would have to adhere to this summon, which means this mission would be aborted. The Shinobi looked at his partner in crime and sighed a little. "We're being summoned it seems. This investigative mission will have to wait until later. This one is urgent, move out". Izanagi simply changed direction and instead of heading to the village. The man decided to move away from it. And so they were gone.

Dante had traveled with Exodus deep within the lands. Confronting many of the sickly looking beings. However they were of no threat to the duo, for their skill alone was enough to defeat any that approached. Exodus had stopped briefly, Dante following suit. A messenger bird had present itself to them. Dante was informed that the two had been summoned. Their duty as swordsmen took priority over their own curiosity and require them to put the mission at hand to a halt for now. Dante would follow after Exodus, leaving for an exit of the lands. Dante sighed as he left, he was beginning to have fun and now it was taken from him.
