Open Battle (Practice fight, Genin Only)

Takai walked onto the empty battlegrounds looking around for a place to start his training for the day. The field is an open plain surrounded by a forest of pine trees with the river running along one side of it. Walking over near a tall tree and sets his gear down on the ground before taking a seat himself. Takai began his training everyday with a hour or two of chakra concentration helping him to be able to focus more and more in battle.

Jiro felt a sharp pain from behind him. He knew that there was an enemy directly behind him. Seeing a direct hit to him as an instant reaction to counter-attack, he quickly spun in a semi-circle to slash the opponent behind him.

(OOC: It's been more than 48 hours. Rules state that if a person doesn't respond within a 48 hour period, the attacker is allowed to carry out their attack and kill the person)

Jiro finished slashing the person behind him, who much to his shock, didn't attack back. He continued slashing at the person to make sure that they were finished, and finished by kicking them off the tree and then jumping down with them to stab them through the chest. Jiro pulled out the sword from the man's chest and turned around, ready to take on his second opponent. He pulled out the kunai he was struck with and threw it into a tree. "1st Gate... Open!" Jiro thought in his head and ran at the other Iron Sand user directly with his sword drawn and ready. He jumped over the Iron Sand user's head before touching him and came around from behind to stab him in the back through the chest. If it connected, this sand user would most certainly be dead aswell.

Takai felt the movement of Jiro's sword coming closer, turned to him and watch his amazing speed as he moves toward him. Takai increased the magnetic pull of the sand that he had clinging to his blade, as Jiro got closer more sand began to encircle his sword. After Jiro's jump over Takai's head and as he began his thrust towards him, Takai used the iron sand to stop the blade from ever piercing his body. At the same time he sent more sand to cover over the rest of the blade and over Jiro's hands and feet.

Jiro knew he was in trouble at this point. He closed his eyes and concentrated. "2nd Gate... open!" Jiro thought to himself. Regaining the stamina he had before activating the gates, aswell as retaining the strength of the first gate, he broke free from the sand and did a few backflips backwards. "I have to go further to beat him... 3rd Gate... OPEN!!!" Jiro shouted out loud as a huge aura of Chakra surrounded him and his skin turned red. At this point, his normal Sharingan turned into his unique Leaf Sharingan to further his abilities. He had to go all out on this opponent. "HAAAAAAH!!!!" Jiro shouted in anger and disappeared in a split second, disappearing and reappearing in the other half second behind his opponent in mid-air, coming down really fast with a dropkick aimed at the back of his head. If it hit, it would surely break their neck due to the speed and force that Jiro was going at.

OOC: It's been 48 hours again.

Jiro continued with his attack and smashed his opponent into the ground, certainly breaking his neck as he heard a "snap" as he hit the ground. Jiro sighed and grabbed his sword back, then stabbed his now-defenseless opponent with it through the chest. At this point, he knew it was over. He exited the Gates and struggled to stand. He limped away, in pain yet glad that he had lived through another encounter. He could tell that he was getting stronger.
