Preparation for Infection

It was quite fucking cold, Kazumi appeared in a body flicker, using his chakra to stand on the shifting flows of the waters of the Arctic Ocean. He was simply there and waiting for his partner to appear. And his partner did in fact appear, much in the same fashion he did, using his chakra to stand on the waters just as Kazumi did. Hisoka held out his hand, which had a scroll in it. 'Ash Pile Burning,' is what Kazumi read as he received the scroll, so he went in his pockets as well and returned the scroll which read 'Shadow Clone Technique,' on it. "Alright, I'll get started on this, you learn the Shadow Clone technique, and we'll be on our way." Kazumi began with the hand seals, Snake → Rat → Snake → Tiger, making each in a rather quick succession. He inhaled deeply as the scroll depicted, his fire release chakras boiling up in his stomach and converting into ash. He exhaled the ash away from the both of them out over the ocean, luckily the man stopped by a store and attained a flint, so he clicked his teeth and the ash ignited in an explosion, causing the mists to rise into the air. "Your turn Hisoka."

Hisoka arrived and he and Kazumi performed the planned trade. Kazumi was to give Hisoka the scroll to a Jutsu that was key to the completion of their mission, and Hisoka was trading the scroll of an equal ranked technique. Hisoka handed over his scroll, and was in turn handed the scroll containing the knowledge behind the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. Hisoka opened the scroll and read its contents, as Kazumi proceeded to actually perform the Jutsu that Hisoka had given him the scroll to. Kazumi successfully completed the technique, as Hisoka performed the technique specific hand seal for the Shadow Clone Technique. He crossed his two extended fingers of each hand, as the scroll instructed, and focused his chakra. Remaining speechless, a clone of Hisoka poofed into existence standing next to him. Smirking to himself as he expelled the clone, he turned and addressed Kazumi. "Are we ready now, Kazumi-san?"

"Yes, lets go." The man bit his thumb, the blood oozing from the wound, the dark red liquid. He then created the hand signs for the summoning technique, Boar → Dog → Monkey → Bird → Ram, and slammed his hand into the water, a seal crawling out across it, and manifesting a large plume of smoke. The giant four-legged hawk appeared from within the smoke, flapping its wings just above the water. "We need a ride Ace, lets go, this could get dangerous." "Understood." Kazumi used a body flicker to appear on top of the Hawk, waiting for Hisoka to follow suit, and then it would blast off toward their destination.

Hisoka rolled the scroll of the technique up quickly and deposited it into his pockets, as Kazumi performed the summoning Jutsu and summoned a Hawk. Kazumi flickered onto the back off the Hawk, while Hisoka simply jumped upon it. Sighing lazily, Hisoka mentally prepared himself for his first assignment since he had become a Seven Swordsmen.
