| There Kazumi stood, between the proctor and his would be opponent. He appeared, leaves swirling around him much like Kakashi and Sasuke did during the Chuunin Exams. There was no attacking until the proctor signaled to begin, so Kazumi just stood there and watched to see where his opponent would appear. Kazumi felt this would be a short match indeed. "Uh..is this the right place?" The crowd was blaring, it was a bit annoying to him. He was still covered in the cloak he normally wore and the ANBU mask he normally had. | |

| Kyou wasn't exactly paying attention at first. The locks of his black, messy hair parted this way and that. His brown eyes set on something else. On his shoulder He seemed to stare at the object. The brown avian flapped its wings a few times, glaring at the arena and the proctor before staring into Kyou's dark eyes with the amber of his own. It let off a soft caw and nipped at the gold of his dangling earring. The piece glinting from his right ear. However this time the bird seemed affectionate, though stern. The boy let off a soft chuckle as his left hand ran gently over the bird's head. "It's fine, Zeke. You can't die in these things." His words were uttered beneath his breath before continuing, "But you gotta stay outta this one buddy."
The bird let out a screech, flapping its wings as if offended before Kyou sighed and ran another comforting hand down its back. Zeke, as the bird was called seemed to shuffle, moving up and down the length of Kyou's shoulder before once again nipping at his hair. "Look, you can't fight in this okay? Don't get me in trouble. I'll be back as soon as its done." His left hand moved, tapping a finger to the bird's talons. The bird stepped up on the hand then flapped its wings once more to regain balance. Kyou smiled softly as he knelt down, putting most weight on one knee before slowly opening the door to a large silver, barred cage. Zeke dipped his head and turned around, continuing to seemingly glare. Kyou whispered something softly before pulling the cage to his chest and hoisting it while he rose to his feet. Handing it off to one of the proctors outside of the initial field, he gave his bird one last glance before stepping back a few feet and running.
He assumed he might have been a little late, but good-byes, as temporary as they may be, were always difficult and he'd miss his bird. However now was not the time for this. With a sort of flip from the edge where pedestrians would sit, he landed within the ring. His appearance nonchalant, with hands in his pocket and that oblivious and warm grin on his face. Almost as if he were headed to a party rather than a battle. He approached his opponent, tossing his scarf to the side, as it might get in the way. He gave a nod to the proctor and examined his opponent briefly before grinning ear to ear, "Well, may the best man win." Kyou wasn't sure who the best man was in this case, but he would try. Even if it was unsuccessful. Normally he would have extended his hand for a good sport handshake, but by the looks of it, his opponent was ready to just get this over with. Shifting his position so his weight was to the balls of his feet, Kyou braced himself, ready to go when the proctor was. |

| The proctor looked right and left. Then began to speak out to the combatants. A large smile on his face. He knew exactly what had to go down. It was not a big deal really. He knew this for a fact. "BEGIN!!!!" Upon saying that he body flickered to a safe place. Far from the combatants. |

| As the man spoke the word "Begin" Kazumi began with his hand signs, biting his thumb allowing the crimson liquid to ooze from the miniscule wound. “Summoning Jutsu: Griffin,” he said as he slammed his palms against the ground, and a large white plume of smoke unfolded what was to be called ‘Ace- the Griffin.’ The immaculate bird beast sprang up into the sky flourishing its massive wings, beauty, and power. At each stroke of its wings the air seemed to bend towards his will, sending a cool breeze at his combatant. The bird was cocky, and it knew itself to be the shit. It lowered towards the flank of Kazumi, landing softly, however, springing up a slight bit of dirt as it did so. Its large beak had opened up, filling with air right before it landed, and Kazumi took a leap to board the massive creature. “Do it, Ace.” From the mouth of the beast a highly compressed soccer ball of air shot out at Kazumi’s opponent, aiming not to kill, but directly at the right side of the man’s body. This was indeed after they took flight and was roughly 35 meters airborne. As they raised the wind swept through the mask of Kazumi’s along with his cloak, he was quite the ominous figure. It sucked he couldn’t use Soriken in this contest but he had other methods he could, and would display. For example he created hand signs when he first boarded the Griffin, using his chakra to adhere towards the back of said creature, in a standing stance. He could feel the chakra’s boiling inside him, both his fire release and his water release swirling altogether. “I take it; this will be a quick one Ace.” Kazumi’s mouth seemed to fill with air, but instead something far more sinister was boiling underneath. From his mouth, a bluish ball had manifest, and so said ball would exit the mouth of Kazumi at a normal pace, and fly heading directly towards the head of his opponent. This was of course, quite before the wind had burst at his opponent. Kazumi was smirking after the bluish ball flung from his mouth. He couldn’t wait to see the results of his partner’s creation. It was likely to be exciting, and painful. | |

| Kyou was alone in this battle. He missed his pet, but he had bigger fish to fry. He had to give his best. As the proctor gave them the okay go, he was instantly evaluating the system. It seemed the boy had learned a thing or two, as if hit with a stick that made him serious. Kyou knew he needed to focus and he was sure about that.
As his opponent summoned his griffin, Kyou gave a look of detest. "Bringing a friend?" In seconds he had formed three hand signs, eying this creature, knowing most summons attack with their mouths. His cheeks popped a moment and his hand flew to his mouth, pinching his fingers together. A jet of water was sent flying through the air. The stream drenched the area, enough pressure to knock over a grown man. If he missed the opponent, it was fine, the timing was enough to give him what he needed. The bird's 'soccer ball' would hit with the jet of water and essential make water spray everywhere in the arena, small puddles forming in the dry bumps of dirt. The man then became airborne. Annoyed, Kyou simply watched as the beast and its master left his reach. Constantly he seemed to have weight on the balls of his feet, his chakra flowing easily through him.
Kyou gave the man a sort of odd look as his mask would melt off or explode from the attack, essentially screwing over the man's last attack possibly harming himself in the process. So that's what he looks like... Kyou thought casually before getting back to all seriousness. If that had happened it meant that he had some sort steam thing going on. Kyou took a mental note of this. It seemed his opponent was cocky, that was fine, but Kyou wouldn't go down without a fight. His hands moved like lightning through a few signs as water lifted into the air as little droplets. His arm left arm ending up straight in the air. This shrouded the boy from the eyes of his aviated friend. The damp air now wetting his clothes and hair. His mind focused, trying his best to now wait for his opponents next move, 'on his toes'. His mind raced on his next move possibilities, while he prepared for the next assault. |

You're implying I became airborne as or after the Griffin fired the compressed air however, it fired after I became airborne 35 meters in the air in fact. So the timing of your counter is off. - Quote :

Additionally, the blue ball of chakra fired before the ball of compressed air. - Quote :

~Name~: Boil Release: Dragon Roar Type:Ninjutsu Rank: B Element: Suiton/Katon = Futton Description:
The user mixes the elements of fire and water inside of their body and spits out a compressed blue ball. Once the blue ball is spit out it ranges from 6 inches in a circular area. Once the ball is to hit something it is to explode on the users command. Once explodes scorching hot vapor from what it appears to be begins to burn through whatever is in the radius of 30 meters width and 27 meters length. The vapor is strong enough to burn through any substance. For one this jutsu only explodes on command, and thus by it impacting my mask, it wouldn't explode, it would only burn through it because of the corrosive chakras. Meaning the ball is still falling directly at your head. Secondly, the explosion wouldn't affect me, since I'm immune to the corrosive chakras, and hot vapor. IC: Kazumi's opponent was smashed towards the right side of his body effectively blasting his arm apart from the whole, and sending it flying elsewhere. But before that even happened the corrosive ball of chakra had burned through the mask of Kazumi's and had fallen upon Kyou's head, exploding as it made impact, this sent the corrosive mists flying all around the area, Kazumi, lowering the acidity so it wouldn't kill the combatant but incapacitate him enough to stop the match, after all it was impossible for him to fight any longer. "I told you this would be quick Ace." | |

| You don't get DQ for kill. You aren't able to kill. You can cause near death. But not kill, because this is OOC. You can not die in OOC. This is pending. Sazen refrain from posting in other peoples fight topics btw. |

| After much debate and review: Timing is off on both parties. Nothing happens. Stream of water misses the target and coats the battle field, the ball of compressed air misses due to the creation of the mist being after the ball of acid, which misses, and therefore the griffin can not see where Kyou is and fires off randomly, thusly missing otherwise that would be meta-gaming his location as it does not state he guessed the location, the inside of the Kazumi's mask is filled with nothing, instead the ball is still in his mouth, charging. |

| Kazumi simply used his hand to raise the mask above his face, revealing it, and his mouth, and also the ball of compressed mixed chakras, which was at first restricted by the mask from exiting and falling on his opponent. Kazumi saw what seemed to rise from the ground, little droplets, and it was an all-too-familiar jutsu that Kazumi was definitely familiar with, after all he was one of the Legendary Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist, albeit, he'd not learned every technique, but he knew of this jutsu. It seemed his opponent might be a mist ninja also, but he just made a major mistake. The ball of compressed air impacted against the ground of the area, spilling up a ton of dirt, and forcing a small crater. Kazumi could no longer see this or his opponent, but memory would serve for his last location when the fight first began, when the Hidden Mist jutsu was created his opponent didn't seem to be about to move so Kazumi assumed he would be in the same spot, so that's where his sights were set. The most curious thing about it all was that his opponent would have no knowledge of it the ball of chakra was falling toward or around him, which it was after Kazumi removed his mask. The ball was bound towards his opponent's last known location at incredible speeds due to gravity, by the time it would be visible to anyone in the mist it would likely be too late. The Griffin expelled three soccer balls of compressed air down at the arena, one after the other, aimed randomly at a spot not believed to the opponent's last location hoping that if he somehow saw the ball through the mist and tried to run he would be caught by one of these balls. | |

This statement is untrue, mist jutsu is made by infusing your own chakra with the water, therefore Kyou would notice the swirling of the water moleculs from the pressure of the air. In which case he would know to get as far away from the swirling droplets as possible. IC: Kyou staggered a bit as the arena shook, something had hit the ground. He couldn't be too sure. Dirt flew into the air, spraying from here to there as it seemed some sort of meteor had hit the area far away from him. His mind however quickly went back to the battle. After all, he needed to focus. If the enemy had something so big in their arsenal, then Kyou definitely could not risk being hit by anything. That would be farther than concussive. He'd been lucky the mist was up or that could have killed him. Weight still on the balls of his feet, he made a small string of signals before his eyes found something curious. The mist around him had begun to swirl and twist as if being assaulted by something. He didn't hesitate for a second further, that looked bad, he didn't want to be near it. Flying as fast as he could, the boy managed to reach a good distance away befor ethe thing would hit. His hands held close to his chest as if holding something, yet an odd position for hands they were. He heard what sort of sounded like gunshots to him and Kyou disliked that. His hands however let him be in a sort of safety measure. The air that came to attack him ended up hitting the man, or so it seemed. For on the exact opposite side of the arena, Kyou was preparing a new attack. He had to screw with his aerial assaultant. Neither opponents would see each other until he decided that the griffin had not been the greatest idea in this battle. |

| It was quite unfortunate that Kazumi could not see what exactly was occurring, one thing he did know was that it wasn't over. And as the ball collided with the surface of the ground, a more sinister mist spread out to consume his opponent. The mists were exactly the same color, and it exploded out with vengeance covering a good 30 meters in radius on impact from the explosion, expanding quite rapidly. The mists made it even harder to see, and now his opponent was completely blind, or would be in mere moments as the acidic mist spread, and completely intertwined with the non-corrosive mists covering all the same area, as the exploded vapor expanded naturally. Naturally, there was no escape but death in the end, even as the hawk lowered just above the mist 2 meters, Kazumi forming the tiger seal, an identical entity taking towards the ground, using chakra to relieve much of the pressure from impact. The Kazumi spoke, "Boil Release: Skilled Mist Technique," and expelled more corrosive mist unto the arena to fill the entire arena. He could not see in this mist, however the look alike formed another tiger seal stimulating his own gases into the air. The Hawk simply rose again back to its 35 meters after the imitation dropped. | |

| OOC: Okay I don't care if this is considered forfeiting or what, but I refuse to continue this fight for a number of reasons 1) My opponent is using jutsu that has been changed MID Fight I don't think this is very fair. I don't want to sound Pious but it's like changing the field mid battle. In actuality it's unfair for both sides 2) My opponent has been using a summon he has been unable to use 3) My opponent's summon has changed mid-battle 4) My opponent's summon was being re evaluated before the battle started
I'm sure there's more that 've missed, but under the circumstances, I find this battle to have been illegit and slanted therefore I refuse to continue until this is cleared up If it means my dq well then sucks to be me, but I'm not fighting an unfair battle. |

| Sorry. But if I understand correctly. You dislike the fact he has used things that have changed midbattle? I don't mean to sound like an ass. But a certain someone has forced his hand. Now, what can happen is this. A restart of the battle. Due to outer interference that was out of his control. His summon was approved, not even I knew that it was denied once more by Devin. Plus, due to changes in the class system, certain things will have to change regardless. That is a fact. |

| No I understand, but don't worry about the rematch or whatever, I'm not really into fighting anyway. So I conceide. I don't really have time to rp much anyways. I apologize for the inconveniences and stress on my opponent. It was not my intention to cause problems, but somehow I did. Nonetheless, I'm dropping out, don't feel like going through it all again XD so good luck to him on the rest of the fight. |
