The One Behind[Private: Dante, Deep Freeze, Any Other Swordsmen]

Takes place sometime after instructions for the others were given

Dante had wandered to the land of snow, running a bit late. He had got caught up with some mercenary thugs on the way trying to rob him. Nothing he couldn't handle as their flesh swiftly connected with the cold steel of his silver katana, now sheathed at his waistline behind him. His greyish hood fluttered slightly as a swift breeze flowed past him. His boots crunched the snow beneath him with each step he made. His eyes focused on the path in front of him yet keeping a good look on things around him using his peripherals. He allowed himself to become one with the world he was in. He had enough surprises, so he didn't want any one else sneaking up on him. As he marched forward he was beginning to wonder what kind of swordsmen he would meet, that is if he wasn't too late. Dante came upon the location stated in the note by the stranger from land of water. He didn't see anyone around, so it was obvious he was late. He sat upon a large rock to think about his next plan of action. He was so ready to take that step toward recognition that he didn't want to return to the Mist Village. He propped his fist up under his head as he sat to think.

A barrage of ice like needles seemed to flurry from all angles. Attempting to hit the man. They came from all his angles, even his blind spot. They where sharp, aiming to hit the man in all his vital spots. This was however. A test. Being conducted by the leader of the swordsman who at the moment. Didn't exist in the plains of reality. He had been gone or something. Not anywhere near the man who was making his way here. To meet the rest of the group. That was for certain. The needles came fast and would test to see if Dante was truly one who wielded a blade or not. It would be a great attack really. How would Dante react? As the needles approached, two shinobi charged at him with kunais, decked out in ski gear looking shinobi costumes. They where aiming to stab him.

Disrupted from his thought by a loud whistling like sound that seemed like a mass of needle objects flying in the air, Dante caught a glimpse using his peripherals and the area in front of him. He was being attacked and from the sound of the noise, it seemed in all directions. Moving as quickly as possible, Dante made a handsign, and practically instantly poofed 4 clouds of smoke. The close proximity of the clouds would hide him for a very brief moment. Not waiting for that however, Dante had went for drawing his larger blade, the precious one, which had been sheathed vertically right along his spine. The blade was practically a buster blade, but with a jagged edge and unique shape. He was drawing this blade in an over the head motion. In almost unique synchronization, erupted a mass of crows from every side of Dante, except from above his head. Where did these crows come from? These crows were the result of the disruption of his crow clones he had created. The clones had took on most of the the barrage of projectiles coming from his left, right, front, and back sides. The purpose to be shields and cover his weakest points, or rather his vital areas. His blade had deflected most of the objects when he drew it over head. Yet this didn't mean he was completely covered, for a few managed to cut him a bit at his shoulder, arms, and back but it was nothing serious. His clothing possibly helped as well but he wasn't to sure being caught up in the moment. He had managed to hear footsteps running toward him as well, coming from in front of him. Using the cover of the mass flock crows to distract and take on any other objects that may fly his way, Dante aimed his blade in front of him, now able to see two individuals, the blade erupted in a flash of vivid yellow lightning that extended quickly forward toward them from the hilt. The lightning branched off about 5 times, something he didn't really have much control over. Luckily 3 of the bolts headed toward the 2 individuals, the other 2, kinda jolted up and to the right. Dante would calculate his next move as he waited to see if his blade would hit.

Seems like he got past all the little traps. A voice could be heard now, behind the man who wielded the blade of the multi-colored lighting. It was the one that was known as Ouroboros. Who smiled and looked very eager now. "So you're dante huh?!" He stated with glee plastered upon his face. He knew deep down inside that this man here was the one who had seemed to complete this little unit of destruction. The one who was known as the Swordsman. He joyously began to leap up and down. Smacking his hands together as he grinned. "Oh yes, the skills that kill! Yes! Yes!!" He stated once more as he vanished instantly. After making the hand-sign of course. He appeared in front of the male now. A few feet back. "So, Dante. I am the leader of this, organization. The name is...Uhh. What was it again? I go by so many. Oh yes! Ouroboros. Indeed. So I need you to come along with me, and we can head back to the village. But not right now. That would be soooooo boring. I was thinking soon however. But for now I have to ask you for a favor. Can you do a favor? You are a SSM afterall. You know, one of us. Just late. Indeed!" He laughed as he looked around the area. Not much too be seen. It was just bland and cold.

After the lightning hit the two individuals it would return back to its normal state as the large buster blade. The two individuals it hit had stopped in their tracks for a moment and then resumed in very unusual flails that posed no real threat, faced with an obstacle that may be considered unusual. Their muscle movements had been scrambled to the point that if they tried to move their right leg, their left arm would move instead and vice versa as it applied to the other limbs as well. A wonderful side effect from Dante's prized blade. Ready to end the two, Dante had heard a voice come from behind him. His eyes cut back to see but the moment he had looked the man had moved and reappeared in front of him, between him and the others that attacked. So he's in charge of this...

The man knew of Dante and seemed excited in finding him. Dante. a bit confused, held his composure as the man asked him of a favor. Dante wasn't very keen on doing favors for strangers, especially those who organize attacks against him. Yet he was a smart one and knew not to openly jump to conclusions. The man also seemed to be one of the swordsmen, more the reason to listen to what he had to say. Possibly the leader? "A favor? I barely know you. Can I get a name here, a title, a glimpse of your blade..." he said with a friendly smile, yet his eyes contradicted it. The last was what he wanted to see the most, the rest wouldn't matter if he didn't have the blade to prove he was one of the 7. "Lets be real here, if you know my name you must know how i can be sometimes. Show me THE blade and I'll hear out your favor." he said coldly.

This lad was rude, that was for sure. So rude, and yet so demanding. What an odd combination of personality characteristics. Oh well that was a great side effect really. He had that look upon his face. One of mistrust and misleading ideals. Things of that nature. Things of that quantity or quality. Oh well, it could not be helped.. "HAHAHAAHA, I already told you my name! I am the Kage of Yukigakure. Id say the strongest Kage around." He stated as he flickered far away. Looking at the snow. Raising his blade upwards the falling snow seemed to be fading away. Building in amount and mass around his large sword. A large tower of water covering his entire body. Creating massive wings from teh side. Giving the giant vision of a massive angel. Holding a trident. The water goddess, Poseidia. Poseidons wife. Or thats what Ouroboros called her.

Dante finally remembered. At second look the man did look familiar. Ouroboros? It finally came together. He was the man from awhile back in the Mist Village, eating in front of a shop. Ah yes, a brief encounter with him and a cloud nin. Dante rembered he was seconds from killing that cloud ninja that day. Yet this man, Ouroboros, was now the Kage of these lands, and possibly the strongest Kage. Dante found it impressive, but was a bit skeptical at first. Yet the man would do something to back it up. Dante watched the man flicker away and hold up a blade. This was it. It would seem that the man's blade manipulated the snow, or maybe water period as it changed to such. The water came together in a large mass and formed something of great beauty in Dante's eyes. He had a thing for such artistic expression. A large angel of water. Dante smiled, this was all the proof he needed. Dante rested his large blade on his shoulder, unaffected by its weight. "Okay, I believe you now." he shouted toward the man. He would stand his ground, not wanting to be in the way of such magnificence. He quite pleased at seeing such power. This is what he desired, it was what he had come here for. If Ouroboros was the leader, than he was sure to get what he wanted walking this path.

"Well, come meet me in my office. I'm sure there are some tasks for you to complete." He stated as he fired the water in all directions, which then turned into pillars of ice do to the surrounding environment. It was this way for specific reasons. To ensure that the world had been a great value. It was this way for a reason. People. Where dying. How sorrowfilled indeed. IT would not matter in the long run. It was time to get some other things done. Such as get certain missions complete. He pointed to a massive blizzard, and stated thats where his village was at. He then vanished. Exiting the area through the use of flicker and such.

Dante watched the man disperse the mass of water and it become ice all around the area. Dante made sure to be out of the way of this. Dante sheathed his blade onto his back where it belonged. The man pointed to a distant place. That was where Dante was to meet him. The man disappeared and Dante began walking in said direction. He did his best to get through the intense snow storm now occurring. He was gone in a matter of seconds, vanishing into the vast whiteness.
