“My first mission…and I’m chasing chickens…” Kaelos spoke to herself under her breath as she was looking at the slip of paper she took that had the directions of the area of where she needed to go in order to talk to the farmer that needed help. “Oh well…at least it’s better than nothing. Plus gives me more experience and money.” She said as she shrugged her shoulders while she looked up and noticed that it was still noon, so she would have a lot of time to chase after and gather up the chickens, even if she really doesn’t need the entire time to do so. Better to be safe than sorry after all. As she passed by the other villagers, she kept her eyes straight forward as she walked past them while they would whisper insults of her to her as well as to themselves. Her sense of caring of what they think about her as well as what everyone else besides her think of her has long been dead. To be correct, it has been over 10 years. In truth, she’s quite a kind person but also the type to treat others badly when they themselves treat her badly…she just does it in a more civil way is all most of the time. When she was alone on the road to the area, she sighed and shook her head. “Idiots…don’t judge those who you don’t know.” She stated before she saw her destination in sight, making herself quicken her pace to get there faster.
When she arrived there, she knocked on the front door and simply waited for the farmer and her employer for the current time to give her more information about this mission before she actually goes out and do it. As she waited, she looked around the area as if thinking to herself the possible directions of where the animals have escaped to. “I wonder how many chickens I have to chase down…” She whispered to herself as she stuffs the mission paper into a pocket next to where she kept her stash of weapons.
