| The rain above stormed heavily on the city below. The misty air made the day seem so depressing yet the village folk didn't mind. A gathering of sorts was being upheld. Villages visiting this rainy little town and conversing amongst one another. People of all age walked amongst their peers, meeting new people and learning new names, most making friends and yet at the same time learning the weaknesses of enemies.
Drumming filled the air and in front of the large instruments stood a group of men and women dancing a sort of ritualistic way. Culture filled the air with laughter and smiles. Somehow no one minded the on-pouring rain that drenched their bodies, some . Small families had matching ponchos as they drifted stand to stand looking at the concessions, a few stopping to play games. A day of joy and pure glee despite an overcast sky.
A young woman marched with a group of three others through the on-goings. Her eyes downcast as she seemed to be the only person unhappy with where she was. Her silver hair falling to the middle of her back in a pair of pigtails that drooped in thin, straight lines. Two boys beside her shoved playfully before shouting something at the parents and then running off to play at a nearby stand. The parents pat the girl on the head and pointed to a group of students nearby, smiling and sort of ushering her to go play with these students, before going off in their own direction, disappearing into the crowd.
Her heart seemed to drop to her stomach as she looked at the kids who glared at her, but she glared back, an expression that told them to mind their own business. Her sort of demanding steps led her to the outskirts of the village, as far away from the fun as she could find. It was the first time she'd been to the festival and hadn't had any fun. No.. today was sad for her. Something bothered her, but she shoved it to the back of her mind. The dark of her irises darted from person to person, watching the merriment. A sneer came on her lips as she turned away and simply watched the rain and the rest of the city, where it looked deserted, a dead town.
Today she had been told to dress nicely. Her body sported a nice, dark purple dress that reached her knees, though now soaked from the rain. Her feet sported strapped sandals that led halfway up her shin before being tied in a bow. Around her neck was a simple satin necklace, tied in a bow as well. Despite how she was dressed, Syrene felt less than enthused. Her mind reeling to try and prevent the pain in her heart from showing. A year ago he had left, he disappeared and left her feeling sort of alone. |

| Aisu approached the borders, and was stopped. The country was on high surveillance. Anything or anybody entering the country was examined and questioned about their intentions in the rain country. Aisu began to walk towards the village gates to get to the festival he had heard so much about. The guards stopped him, “What is your purpose here?” Aisu thought about it. He had a reason to be in the rain country. He smiled and said, “I am here to enjoy the festival just like everyone else ya fucking retard.” said Aisu as he flashed the invitation flyer he received as well as his headband.
The man nodded silently, he then went to the officer booth and made a call. He started talking, within minutes he returned. He gave him permission to enter the rain country. “I am very sorry for the misinformation on my part sir. I hope you enjoy your time here in Amegakure” said the officer. He then allowed him into the country. Aisu began to walk further and it began to rain. The chuunin scowled as it began to rain. They came closer to the rain village where huge skyscrapers towered over him.
Aisu went to a old man that was standing not too far from him. “Excuse me, but do you happen to know where the festival is being held?” he said. The man looked around, and laughed loudly. He then ran which really puzzled the chuunin and only added more oil to the anger he was feeling inside. Aisu asked many people and for some reason they were scared and ran. The male walked around the village for a bi before coming to an intersection where a crowd of people wee gathering. It seemed that he had finally reached his destination while wading his way through the throng of people. Bodies were pressed together making it hard for him to move efficiently which heightened his chance of knocking into someone. Surely this was the case as Aisu bumped into a young lady hard, but quickly caught himself by placing both hands on her shoulders to prevent himself from falling. "Sorry about that. It's hard to move through this kinda crowd."

| Syrene stumbled slightly as someone bumped into her, her mouth responding quicker than anything else, "Watch it, moron!" Her eyes were daggers as she turned to the 'assaulter'. Her hands grabbed at the man's, moving them off of her. She hadn't noticed how close the crowd had gotten to her and immediately she felt more annoyed. Stepping away, she tripped slightly over someone's foot. She groaned and regained her balance, her face slightly red from embarrassment. Dusting off her soaked dress, she didn't give the man a second glance before vanishing away from the crowd.
Once more walking to the edges of the festival she turned and sat down on a tree stump, lifting her leg to massage her ankle. Her voice grumbled some about the idiots as she stretched the sore joint. Her mind once again in a distant land of worry. Her eyes were hard and angry on the crowd, though not on anyone in particular. |

| Aisu was yelled at by the woman he bumped into and before he could react was pushed away from her back into the throng of people. The chuunin was somewhat surprised by the reaction he had gotten while seeing her figure going through the crowd, getting away from him every second. Aisu was indeed pissed about the way she reacted towards him, he set off after her. The man was new to the village that seemed to fascinate him as he gazed around.
The buildings were high, and it was incredible unique in their architecture. The pipes and tubes ran long the side of them down to the florescent bulbs of the "Open" signs at the base of the towers where stores most likely rested. They acted like veins, and the liquid that coursed through them were like the blood. This could be rain water but he wouldn't be surprised if this was potable water and sewage water, even gas lines. There too had to be many wires that ran from place to place to power everything, and thus a power plant located somewhere as well. Unlike any other living thing, this place had it's 'guts' on the outside, which means it was easily toppled. These were patchwork buildings and showed the wounds and scars of the battles they had survived, or rather, rebuilt from. The rain water had been collecting for awhile and the inch high film covered the streets and roads, of course this was only a guess by his estimation of the water that was collecting on the roof; including the rate in which it had drained off as well. He doubt the rag tag buildings had any sort of code and it was ironic for him to dream of how such a massive number of futuristic structures should be so frail in reality. But then came another problem...
The chuunin looked around when he exited the crowd of people to see the woman that he had bumped sitting on a stump. Aisu walked towards her with a frown on his face and about a million things running through his mind. But at the moment he was going to tell her off for being so rude towards him before when he had done nothing wrong. Aisu stood in front of the young girl, towering over here due to her sitting down in font of him. "What the hell was with your attitude lady? I bumped into ya by mistake so you didn't need to get fucking angry with me." The chuunin had a bad temper and a short one at that too.

| Syrene heard approaching footsteps and her head tipped up. The man from earlier was standing in front of her with a frown on his face. Oh was he angry? Most likely. Did the woman care? Now that was a different story and the answer was no. Actually it made her more angry that he was mad at her. "What's MY problem? You're the one making a deal out of it." Though that wasn't really the truth, she was intending to say 'you started it' however untrue that statement would be. Her eyes stared as narrowed blades at the man. She stood up and pushed the wet bangs out of her face before crossing her arms with what seemed oddly enough like a smirk on her face, yet her vibe was one that said 'fuck off'.
Her stature left her shorter than the man still, even whilst standing, but obviously her ego was something different. Of course Syrene didn't understand or really know that the man was short tempered as well. Fire met fire and she was quickly putting herself in a dumb position. However her eyes showed that she had no intentions of backing down. The stubborn girl simply turned and acted as if brushing the man off. "Anyways, do you have so little of a life you felt the need to find me just to bitch at me?"

| The cold rain poured its heart out upon the desolate village as its invaders trampled upon it, leaving death, despair, and destruction in their paths. The village had seemed to already suffer some lose of both life, and buildings. The chuunin himself did not want to kill those who were not involved in the matters he was tot end to, however after seeing the defiant attitude that the young girl showed him, his temper only raised more. The rain did little to calm him down while he stared down the girl who not too long ago he had been sorry that he bumped into.....well not anymore.
Aisu was not going to let her sit with a smug expression on her face and had every intention of wiping it off. The chuunin forced himself to calm down while ignoring the vicious look she gave him which truly did little to intimidate him. There were still people here, and around. Innocent civilians, and there beef wasn't with him. He wasn't attempting to kill everyone here, and neither were anyone else; they were only to secure the village under a particular rule while it was vulnerable. Of course he could remember that every village had a certain form of evacuation plan, and a place that was so accustom to being destroyed was probably exceptionally good at this process.
They would have to stall even further to try not to harm anyone in this process. It made things much more difficult. He could only imagine a godzilla like profile where the massive beast is rampaging through a city and everyone there would run from it scared and helpless but somehow no one was ever hurt by the time godzilla had disappeared. But he seriously doubted that everything he had been through could prepare him for the rude girl in front of him. "Look here you smug little bitch, I did nothing to you and even apologized but I really regret it now. You seem to criticize my life but is yours so fucking shitty that you have to blow up at me for it?!" he snarled at her.

| Syrene continued holding a cocky grin though beneath it was a sort of angry, devil's smile. One that said she would try and kick his ass if possible. Her hands clenched slightly on her arms as they continued being crossed. A slight snicker in her voice as she continued. "I blew up? Hardly! Who's the one making a scene?" A laugh fell from her lips as she tipped her nose in the air like a priss. It seemed she was intentionally pissing the man off. Why? Because Syrene enjoyed being cruel, mean and cold. Her body shifted, turning slightly away, her eyes closed and that malevolent smirk on her face, as if she couldn't care less. It was as if she were telling him that he were inferior to her. Basically she was being her usual self.
Her eyes flicked open slightly to observe the man's reactions. She hoped to get a rise, she enjoyed arguing and if things got heated enough she could enjoy going into a sort of fight. Adrenaline was tasty and she could use some excitement was how she figured it. "So you wasted your breath apologizing, what is the point in continually wasting your breath by screaming?" She decided to push it overboard by flipping her hand through her hair, another way of showing she was brushing him off as if he were some common folk. It was a game to her and for once she was holding control of her own rage. However it wouldn't be much longer if the right words were said. It seemed Syrene was in a sort of bitchy mood and it was sad, but this man was taking the brunt of it all. |

| And with that he could only stand and watch in the rain, ever vigilant, for signs of what this woman was up to with her little smug attitude. One step at a time, as timing was key, and patience was a part of keeping good management of time; worrying about future objectives would only spike his already tensed nerves. Aisu calmed down and looked at her with a plain face as to not give her the satisfaction of seeing him angry. Yet on the inside he was indeed furious and somewhat surprised that someone else could match him blow for blow with his mean streak. "I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of me having a temper tantrum bitch."
A group of men off to the side were staring up at the sky, gazing at that rain. Something that was a past time within the village. The rain was beautiful, the clouds were beautiful and almost everything about mother nature was a crown jewel for them. The men were all close friends, off for the day, enjoying a few drinks, stories, and a nice card game. Several objects lay across the table, several packs of cigarettes, ash trays, bottles of low alcohol beverages and wet cards. One of the more interesting items is the militants special crossbow, a weapon equipped with a scope that allows the user to see a mile in any direction they so choose to look in. One man, taking it easy in his chair, with his feet on the table, a cig in his mouth and his chair propped back on its hind legs, was taking in the weather, the rain was a calming factor after such a hard day, something to take your mind of the troubles. Aisu paid no attention to them but instead to the girl in front of him "You're not gonna apologize are ya?"

| Syrene continued holding her sarcastic and devil's smirk. Her eyes showing a sort of sick and sadistic enjoyment, "Oh? You can read me like a book and we just met." Her voice repressed a giggle, her eyes glinted amused. It was cruel of her, being so insensitive and just purposely being mean. She stretched her arms over her head curving her back and closing her eyes briefly. The rain was wonderfully warm on her body, however the drenched feeling of her clothes was less than satisfying. The clouds moved slowly and overcast the sky above, flickering shadows of shadows over the two. A distance away people glanced over then turned away, back to their games and conversations. No one minded them.
"Now that you know you aren't going to get what you want, would you kindly back down and go back to whatever it was you were doing before you decided to come and bitch." |

| Aisu was not in a good mood...today he wasto put up with an annoying female but as he looked closer at her he seemed to think she was actually beautiful. It wasn't like he was going to tell that to her or admit it since she was still acting like she had him where she wanted. He looked at her with a slightly confused expression, hoping that somehow the heavens would improve the situation before it got any worse... his prayers were not answered by the response she gave. But by some evil beast when on the horizon like a bright orange figure that deeply contrasted against the dark sky of the incoming storm. He quickly went to his next question "I'm not going anywhere but what are you doing at a festival? You don't seem like the type nor does it even seem you are on a date." It rained through this beloved village as he saw bodies drowning away under the intense downfall of precipitation that came down. He quickly zoomed in enough to see the little outline of a person with soaked clothes…“Probably should have stayed in…” he thought to himself.
"By the way what is your name runt? I'm gonna need a name to go with that face if I ever decide to come back to this village to relieve some anger."

| Syrene seemed to arch her brow at him as he held a confused expression. It was different and she wondered if he was trying to throw her off. Still crossing her arms, her lips turned to a frown and she looked off. "What gave you that idea? My family dragged me here. I hate this place to be honest." That was a lie of course, it just more hurt to be here. She was missing someone and it showed only vaguely in her eyes despite how she determinedly she forced them to hide. She held back a laugh at the word date as she would never go on one of those. Men and women alike were meant to avoid her and she kept it that way. Her eyes held a flicker of amusement before they slitted to their sadistic original forms, almost demonic or ill-bearing.
"My name? I am Azai, Syrene." She stated proudly. It wasn't a feat, the Azai family wasn't some famous clan and the only famous member was dead. She was infamous in her village as the town bully. In other villages though, her name was incredibly unfamiliar, she didn't mind it. It left people with a sort of surprise to learn about her mean ways. "Relieve anger? Are you trying to pick a fight?" A slight smirk curved at her lips beneath the shade of her bangs. |
