Dust Release - Fire Extension 1136/1000 words completed
It hadn't been too long since Niiro had found out that he wasn't an Uchiha who were known for their infamous abilities, but he still had not figured out who he was yet; he wanted to know this so that he could become stronger in his own eyes. He knew not what it would take to get to the point that he needed to be at, but he figured he would at least start here. Before he could even begin searching some old man had walked up to him, completely out of nowhere, and said, "You look just like your father." Niiro didn't have a chance to say anything before the old man continued speaking. "You're probably wondering what clan you're from, or who you are and your own powers, well you're from the Jigen clan; we are known for our Dust Release skills." Niiro had heard of them before, but he didn't think that he was apart of this clan. He began to wonder if this guy would help him out, but the man responded with, "I won't help you with your journey to gaining your power, so find your Extensions and they will be your guide." After that was said the man disappeared and left Niiro there to find his Extensions or whatever they were called.
He stood there and started to think about the elements that were required for Dust Release and remembered that it needed three elements, which made it a Kekkai Tohta (or something like that). The three elements that made up Dust Release was Fire, Wind, and Earth, but Niiro only had two of those elements; maybe he could create Dust Release with just those two elements. He had to try to see if he could do it, so he decided to see how far he could go with a single element. He knew that it would take a lot of concentration in order to do this, so he cleared his mind by meditating for about ten minutes and was finally ready to try this thing out. He stripped off his poncho, his shirt underneath the poncho, and even his weapons; he placed them all on a ledge that was off the side of the stone pillar that he was standing upon. The pillar itself had a radius of five meters so there was enough room for one to get their training done. After a quick glance around he was capable of telling that there was no one around to get harmed by what might happen next. He couldn't even tell himself was about to happen in the next hour or so, so he had to keep his head cleared and try not to do anything that could harm himself. He had a feeling that he was about to be putting himself in some serious danger, but he didn't know. He had to figure who he was.
Niiro had decided to start with his Fire Element, but he had to go over what were the talents of the Jigen clan. He quickly remembered that they always made these destructive shapes that had incredible power behind them. He figured that he would start off by trying to make a cube with his Fire Release Chakra. He put his hands up in front of him, leaving about four inches between them and began to focus his Fire Release chakra between his hands and a shape was starting to form; this seriously surprised him that he was capable of doing this even on his first try, but his joy didn't last long. Suddenly, with a little bit of excitement, the shape blew up in his hands sending him flying off the side of the pillar. He immediately focused chakra into his hands and feet so he could get a better grip onto the side of the pillar and pulled himself back up to the top. After getting to the top he released the chakra he was exerting and looked at his hands. He had noticed that his hands were slightly burnt due to the explosion that was caused from trying to perform the Dust Release. He wondered if it would continue to go like this during his entire training; hopefully not so that he didn't come out of this with completely singed hands. He wouldn't know unless he had continued with his training, so that's exactly what he did. He made sure that no one had saw the little explosion that had happened, and kept going with his training.
After about an hour of focusing on keeping his chakra in check and manipulating his Fire Release Nature, he had believed to have gotten to the point of creating these dimensional shapes; the first one he successfully created was a cube. After looking at the cube hovering in his right hand he had noticed that there was a ball of energy inside of it and there were little balls of fire rotating around the cube; he began to wonder if this happened with all of the shapes that would be created with just Fire Release. He closed his hand that had the cube hovering over it and it immediately dispersed. After that was done he had created a sphere that was made of Fire Release and had noticed that it had also had the ball of energy inside of it and it had the small balls of flame rotating around it Now that he knew what they looked like when they were created he was beginning to wonder how much power was behind these little things. He pumped a little bit more of his chakra and Fire Release Nature into the sphere and it had increased in size. Now that he had done this he decided to give it a toss; he threw it at one of the mountains that was nearby. The ball flew at the mountain with amazing speed and he began to wonder what would happen if some Wind Release Nature was added to that, but he didn't try it. After colliding with the mountain Niiro was beginning to think nothing would happen but it immediately exploded causing a big chunk of the mountain to fall into the great body of water; it left a great indent.
Niiro was surprised by his new power, but he knew that he wouldn't use this unless he needed to; he didn't want everyone to know about it, so it had to remain somewhat a secret. He decided that he wouldn't even tell the ones of the Swordsmen of the Mist about it either. It was his power that he would use only when it was necessary. Now that the training was over, he clothed himself and left back "home".
