Shinobi vs Samurai

The Location:

It was a warm summer night and a lone shinobi and samurai walked away from a village that had been set on fire. Smoke filled the air, the screams still echoing in the distance as he walked calmly away from the village he had just single handedly destroyed out of complete boredom. He had hoped to maybe find someone in the village who would prove to be at least slightly entertaining and a challenge, but of course with no actual shinobi in that peaceful village his luck was of a bad variety that day. As we walked through the beautiful pasture of orange and purple flowers, the clouds above him began to cover the sky as what seemed to be a rainstorm approaching. The light began to fade from the day and the day turned into sunset illuminating the entire pasture in an orange hue. It was a truly beautiful sight and for even someone with no real emotions like Saitou, he had to pause and look into the sky.

The wind began to pick up blowing his purple hair wrapped up into a ponytail off of his shoulder. His cold blue eyes looked up into the sky for minutes on end without him moving and anyone who may or may not have seen him at that point would have to wonder what was going on in this man's mind. In this state, this place, this scene, this moment he looked....so peaceful. As if he was just a man looking for the place he really belonged. His peacefulness was interrupted as a rock came flying right at his head and connected, bringing him back to the present. He turned to face the direction the rock came from which was the village that he had just destroyed. Standing in front of him was a young girl, no more than 5 years old with her clothes covered in blood and ash. Tears filled her eyes and her face with rage while her mouth screamed at him with the hate only someone in intense pain could convey.

"WHY....why did you have to come here?! you killed everyone! My friends, my family my neighbors.......I HATE YOU!"

The girl picked up another rock and through it at Saitou, this time missing and the pebble flying past his right shoulder. This girl must have been the only one who he didn't kill in the village so she was probably hiding during the massacre watching everyone else die. What a sad existence this girl would have if she were to be allowed to live now. He could simply kill her now and end her pain, but what would she learn from this? What exactly would Saitou gain from killing this girl other than the satisfaction of hearing her screams of agony and pleading for her life? If he really wanted to leave a mark here, he knew exactly what to do. He smiled at the girl and spoke calmly.

"Tell me girl, where were you while all this killing was going on hmm? I made sure to kill everyone in site and it seems like you saw me do it so why did you simply hide and watch all your friends and family be murdered? Do you think they would have done the same to you hmm? Watch you die and hide in fear? Maybe rather than be so angry with me for killing them, you should look at yourself and hate your own weakness and inability to stop me. You are nothing, but a sad pathetic little girl who watch everyone she cared about die and then in an attempt to make yourself feel like you did something you came here to stand before me NOW after everyone is dead."

The face the girl made next was exactly what he was looking for. She went from angry and sad to the look that every human gets on their face when all their hopes ad beliefs have been taken from them. The look when you realize you have nothing left to live for and death is the only salvation you can see in your future. Young as she was, even she was able to make this face and it brought Saitou an unmeasurable amount of joy to see that look on her face. She dropped to to little knees her eyes still on Saitou, but it was apparent she was no longer really looking at him. Her soul had already left her when Saitou spoke his words. In response the sadistic Kaguya clan member simply pointed his index finger at the girls forehead as a small bone edged out from the tip. In an instant the bone shot from his finger and straight through the girl's forehead killing her instantly. The bone went through her skull and embedded itself in the ground behind her as he body fell to the left. Saitou turned and looked back the orange sky and sighed heavily.

"That was fun."

The beautiful day would be interrupted as the boiling ghost found himself in the beautiful mist village. He knew that he would soon have to go out and get into battle sometime around. He had just became a chuunin and he wanted to make his village proud. He would grab his sword and leave his home. As he began to walk out of his home he noticed some genin from his village and as he walked pass they all began to nod showing signs of respect to the elder shinobi and respect him as a member of the legendary swordsmen of the mist. It was still bright outside in the village hidden in the mist but Blake did not care. He was solely set on getting some blood today from someone. He needed blood to feast and live and get the feeling of being alive. As the boiling ghost looked up he noticed a building. He began to climb said building for atleast 20 minutes as if he could not just run up the side. He reached the very point of the building which now had him 2000 feet in the air. The ghost then jumped off and began to spin in the air as his cape allowed him to glide in the air. He landed on the ground with his sword falling directly next to him. With his face covered he began to smirk as he mumbled "This world is not ready for the great talents of the village hidden in the mist. Soon everyone will know our pain and suffering and respect us as the head nation of the ninja world..."

As he landed he found himself at the village gates. He began to walk out as he noticed his girlfriend come up to him. He began to beg and cry for Blake to stay. He bowed his head and continued on with his mission. He placed his sword on his back and set out on the journey to kill his prey. He had no clue who he was attacking but he really didn't care. He just wanted this day to end. As he looked back at his girlfriend he looked down and began to run across a bridge. Once at the end of the bridge Blake noticed the forest to finally reach the exit of the village.

Blake jumped on top of one of the streets as he reached for his sword something shiny and thin fell off of his hand and rapped around the sword. It was shiny and slick to say the least but Blake would ignore it. He placed his sword back on his backend of his body and continued to run and jump along the trees. Now at the end of the village Blake noticed a beautiful tea shop. He pulled down the lower part of his mask as he walked into the tea shop. He sat down and a cup of tea was passed to him. He drunk it down immediately. He simply let out a deep breath from his nose as he got up throw 3 ryo on the table and left.

Now out of the tea shop Blake noticed a area of tall grass. Blake did not like that so he simply placed some chakra into his blade as it grew and he began to slash cutting 30 meters wide clearing most of the area. He noticed a man. A man that fit the description of his target. His sword came back to normal size as he noticed the shiny stuff wasn't around it anymore. Blake also noticed he did not have his ninja wire. This was beginning to get odd. Now infront of his enemy Blake took off his lower mask for good and took off his headgear just leaving his head gear. Revealing his blue hair and his black eyes Blake began to talk "Its time for us to handle our business Sir."

For the second time now, Saitou's relaxation was interrupted, but this time it was not by a mere villager coming to exact revenge on him. Just from feeling the man's presence he knew that this would not be something handled quickly. His random murdering was sure to catch up to him at some point and it seemed that here, out side Kirigakure his former home, they had finally sent someone to kill him. Saitou's body didn't turn completely to look at the man, but rather he turned his head and his piercing blue eyes looked his opponent and noticed instantly the sword he was carrying. Something about this man seemed....interesting. He finally turned to face the man and spoke solemnly.

"Tell me....what drives you? What is it that makes you do what you do. Why have you chosen this life? This path?

Blake wasn't sure what was going to happen in this battle of the two. Both being good with weaponry was going to play out good. The only issue is seeing trough the attacks. Blake slammed his ghost blade into the ground as he pulled out 2 trench knives. One with a tag on it. A tag that would do alot of damage actually. That tag was only on the left blade tho. The right blade was plain. Blake simply placed the trench knive blades on his hands and began to charge at his enemy. He screamed as he charged "Because i am Blake The Boiling Ghost."

"Blake The Boiling Ghost hmm?"

Saitou didn't flinch as the man charged and screamed at him, bur his right hand drifted to his katana resting on the hilt of the sword. He watched the man's charge carefully as in a battle of taijutsu every single step was important and just one misstep would be the end of either of the combatants. Each move his opponent made was perfectly place, not a step out of tune with the rest of his body and the charge was perfect leaving very few if any openings to strike. Saitou's left foot moved back as he prepared to dodge the lunge and his mind began to wonder. The Boiling Ghost hmm? Boiling....hot water. He probably uses Suiton....and Katon hence the heat. Boiling....I believe that is a kekkai genkai from Kirigakure. Boil Release? Could he be a user? I've never seen any of the techniques but I hear they are quite powerful...hmmm

Blake watched as his opponent barely made any movement. This made Blake rather wary of his opponent. Was he going to stand their and take a hit? Was he going to slash at Blake? So much to think about but not enough time. Blake did the smartest thing he could actually think of. He did 3 moves. He ducked in once swinging his blade releasing a wave of chakra. Another where he jumped releasing a wave of chakra. And then he began to run jump inbetween the two slashing making a 3rd wave of chakra. One do toward the lower body one at the middle section of the body and one near the top of the body where the upper torso and head would be located at. As the waves passed the airborne Blake he would roll on the floor coming up grabbing the shiny ninja wire he had dropped awhile back. He would rap it around his hand as he sat back and watched the waves spanning from 7 feet in width go towards the enemy prepared to maim him.

Saitou waited until the exact time to finally make his move and when Blake ducked down to send a wave of chakra at the Kaguya clan members feet, he jumped backwards using his left foot as a medium. His backwards motion started the moment Blake ducked and so when the first wave of chakra came at him, he had a slight advantage in distance. After gaining a few feet in distance to give him time to dodge the first he jump into the air so that it would simple fly beneath him. By this time the second and third waves were coming straight at him though both lower on his body than he had originally intended.

In an instant his entire sword, sheath and all, was removed from its place on his hip and it seemed to glow blue at his touch with chakra. He held the sword in his right hand by the hilt and slammed the tip of the sheath onto the second blade of chakra just as it passed under him and used that to propel him even further into the air so that the 3rd and final wave went under him just like the first. His body spun and flipped mid air as he added a bit of style to his technique, but also to hide his attack.

With his right hand holding his sword, his left hand was free to point 3 fingers at his opponent on the ground below him. Just as he had done with the girl, the bone tips of each finger protruded for a second and then blasted at his opponent with the speed of a gun shot. All the bone bullets were aimed at his chest and if connected would kill him instantly. As this happened his body came back to the ground thanks to gravity and incidentally he landed right where he had been standing in the first place. His sword was now back at the hip resting and begging to be used.

Blake was prepared to see a blood shattered nightmare right about now. He wanted to see his enemy body cut into many pieces. But that isn't the case this time. His opponent made a flashy movement and started to attack the waves and even block from them. Blake just smiled. as he noticed his enemy shot out 3 dots. He had remembered from reading the enemies bio that he was from the legendary kaguya clan. Blake smirked as he grabbed on to the ninja wire and jumped into the air. Blake then swung the ninja wire around a few times and as you noticed Blake falling over his opponent from what it seemed the 3 bones were caught up into the wire. Blake quickly pulled back the ninja wire releasing the 3 bone falling back towards their creator. Covered by the bone in a Silhouette manner was one of the 2 trench knives. Blake could be seen falling back making handsigns preparing for the next move

Not one to be outdone, Saitou watched as his opponent dodged and countered his simple attack and smiled. This fight was slowly becoming more and more interesting, but time was not on his side as he had somewhere to be soon and although he was enjoying himself he couldn't spend an endless amount of time playing around with this hunter. As he watched the man jump into the air and spin what appeared to be ninja wire, the Kaguya clan member made one simple hand sign as his body was enveloped in smoke. The bones and the hidden trench knives that the Kaguya clan samurai didn't see would end up hitting nothing as in one quick instance his body vanished from where it used to be.

Within that same instance his body reappeared about 15 feet behind his opponent who was now falling from the sky and making hand signs of his own. It seemed as though this battle was about to become a battle of ninjutsu which was not something Saitou wanted. Though he was indeed proficient enough at using ninjutsu he much preferred taijutsu because it was more in your face and hands on. All it would take was 3 quick hand signs to turn the battle in his favor he hoped. Ram → Dog → Rat.

In mere seconds, the once warm field of flowers began to turn misty as fog began to cover the area and a light ran began to pour from the sky and clouds. The rain wasn't heavy, but more of a sprinkle. The mist made vision impaired for those not used to fighting under these conditions, but with both of them being former or current Kirigakure nin, the mist wouldn't hinder either of them.

Blake watched as he thought his enemy would fall for his attack. Sadly he did not. The man knew exactly what he was doing but in a odd way Blake wasn't really mad. He was rather glad his enemy wasn't going to give up easily. Blake watched as he fell his enemy was making handsigns. This wasn't going pretty well thought Blake. His enemy vanished and appeared further away. 15 feet to be exact. Blake was getting kind of wary of his enemies presence in the area. As Blake fell with his handsigns he began to spit out a blue compressed ball. He quickly grabbed the ball and placed it in his hand. He noticed a fog that began to appear but he already planned for this. He watched as his blade sucked the chakra out of the mist causing it to lift up clearing up the area. His sword just fell from being stuck in the ground and all Blake could do was smirk. Still running with the blue ball in his hand Blake jumped into the air 2 feet away from his enemy and threw the ball towards his enemy.

(OOC: I'd like to point out that you seem to have misunderstood the jutsu I used. I didn't use Hidden Mist Technique, I used Hidden Jutsu: Mist Rain. The effects are completely different and even with your chakra absorbing sword you wouldn't be able to get rid of the rain that you would have gotten rid of the mist. The rain comes from the clouds and so you'd have to absorb the chakra from the clouds not the rain anyway. As such the following is what happened as a result of your confusion.)

Saitou was actually surprised at what his opponent attempted to do next. It seems his opponent had made a fatal error in judgment, probably thinking the jutsu that the Kaguya clan member used was something less devastating. The blue ball created by his opponent would fall to the effects of his trap style ninjutsu and as it was being formed, the chakra within the ball would slowly begin to be sucked out as the rain covered it. As his opponent charged, the ball would only be getting smaller and smaller and knowing that this would be his best opening. As his opponent charged, Saitou focused chakra into his feet and began to charge at his opponent as well.

His opponent stopped 2 feet from Saitou before attempting to throw the ball of chakra at him, but at this point the ball just vanished into thin air, completely absorbed by the mist rain. Saitou charged directly at his opponent and with his two palms thrusting at his opponents chest, two large bones shot out from his palms sharp at the tip like large needles. His opponent was only two feet from him and with him moving forward just as fast, his opponent would literally have no reaction time at all. No time for hand signs, no time for moving, no time for dodging. Nothing.

With the thrust force of his palms and the force in which the bones fly out they will pierce both of the opponents lung and then on Saitou command shoot upwards and pierce his heart from both sides causing instant death. Blood will shoot out from his opponents body splattering over the Kaguya's body and ruining his clean clothes. Despite this thought, Hajime had a huge grin on his face. The sight of blood and the sheer happiness of ending yet another life was the most satisfying feeling that this heartless shinobi could ever feel these days.

After killing his opponent in such a swift an easy manner having to resort to only one ninjutsu technique the killer was happy. The bones fall from his palms as new ones have already grown to replace those extended, and as this happens his opponents lifeless body should fall to the ground and bleed out onto the beautiful flowers that surround him. The mist and rain clear up as the even sun now sets cloaking the battlefield in darkness. By the time his body will be found, the sun will have arisen again and Saitou will have moved on to the next place in which to find entertainment.

Blake got cut in the heart and all he could say before he died was "Oh dear lawd"
