Personality:
Kuro is a very quiet person most of the time but is quick to anger when he sees someone innocent being abused, mistreated, or threatened. He is a romantic at heart but hides his feelings for the women he cares about due to the fact of the pain of loosing them. His mother died while giving birth to him and was raised by his father until he was 7. He loves writing dark poetry in a book that he carries with him at all times but never lets anyone read for fear they wouldn’t respect him anymore. He has a few friends but at the end of the day he finds himself alone, which is 1 of many reasons why he is the way he is. Even though he is goolmy most of the time; he will do anything to protect what friends he does have and he will also never give up on attaining more power so he can protect the few people that are in his life from anyone or anything that might hurt them. The one side that is seen very rarely is when his anger and vengeance combine to make him so determined that no matter what anyone says; they will not stop him from his goal.

History:
Born in the land hidden in the swamps wasn't an easy life. His mother died while giving birth to him and is father was abusive. He tried to stay out of the house as much as possible, and would usually get into trouble eventually. His father was a drunk and gambler, so one could only imagine the horror Kuro would face when he came home. Most people didn't ask what had happened to his face when he went around town. Most people didn't notice him enough to care. The only joy in his life was when he finally went to the Academy. He loved it their and his thirst for knowledge was almost unquenchable. He was always getting into fights though with the other kids. This was mostly for just attention, but every once and a while it would be for noble reasons. He hated the other kids picking on people. This rang especially true for when bullies would pick on the girls. This was the cause of about half the fights Kuro got into. Although not a very socially acceptable behavior, he did learn how to fight and was rather good a it. His skills in fighting would continue to improve gradually while he was in the academy.

When he graduated the Academy at the age of 7, his father attended his ceremony. This was unusual, but he wasn't too concerned about his dad. That night though, his dad went off a little crazier that usual. His dad was almost too drunk to stand up, but he decided to get a knife and try to attack Kuro. Kuro could only do one thing; defend himself. Kuro quickly disarmed his dad, but as he did, his father fell on top of him and onto the knife. Kuro was in shock. He couldn't believe that his father was gone. Even though his father wasn't the best man in the world, he was the only parent he had left. Now.. Kuro was alone.

Sense that time Kuro came into his own unique gift. He learned that he had to power to create crystals and how to use them in attacks. He is still new to this, but he is furthering his power. He now goes on missions on almost a daily basis, and trains a lot of the times. He isn't really social and rarely speaks unless spoken to. He minds his own business, but he does care dearly for what few friends he has.

Looks like I'm going to have ta be mean on this one, but hey, work hard and you'll get rewarded.
