Soren had just gotten done with his training. He still had yet to find a sensei. He still had yet to learn anything new. He was getting restless. He knew that their were plenty of teachers to be assigned to, yet the higher ups were dragging their feet. He knew that this village was weak and decadent. They had yet to appoint a new Kage and the enemies would not wait forever. If an enemy was wise, the would have been the perfect time to attack. With no Kage, disorder and chaos would ensue and it would all too easy to defeat the defending forces. "I have had enough. I am leaving this place for good. I bet they wont even notice I am gone," Soren said to himself as he walked up to the Ramen Shop. He then sat down and ordered a bowl of something to eat and began his plan of escape. "It will take a little time, but it wont be difficult to sneak out of here.
After finishing his meal, he started to think "If I go over the walls, I will be spotted by the guards, and the Anbu will be dispatched in no time. So that route wont do. I could go under the wall, but still the same scenario. I guess the easiest way would to be just waltz out the front gate. A simple transformation jutsu as the next guard would be perfect. Now all I need to do is find out who the next guard is. It will be a chuunin, and the only chuunin I know is Damion. How would I find out when is shift starts though? Maybe they would just tell me. I mean these chuunin aren't that bright." Soren then chuckled to himself and went by the weapon's shop. He browsed a bit, but decided not to buy anything.
Soren then went to his house near the lake and began to wonder if he should start selling his stuff. "Well I don't want to arouse suspicion so maybe it would be best just to leave it here. The Senju family owns it anyway, so it wont get repossessed." Soren then gathered some clothes and decided to wait until tomorrow before he would leave the village. He fixed him something else to eat and took a nice hot shower. He went all out for himself because he had no idea when he would get to eat again or have a nice hot shower again. He did plan one last thing though, his destination. "So the Land of Iron is powering up. It seems they are the strongest village right now. I had better at least try and join them. It would be foolish not to. Plus they are big, so I might find a sensei their who can teach me new jutsu." Soren then mapped out his route to the land of Iron. He then turned in and slept soundly the whole night.
The next morning, Soren woke up and got dressed. He had nothing to do today other than leave the village. He would get some breakfast first. "Mmm.. bacon, eggs, biscuits and sausage grave... Man if I ate this every morning I would get fatter than a pig. It sure is good though." Soren then finished up his breakfast and headed out the door with his back-pack ready. He then headed by the training grounds one last time. He spent almost all of his time here. Really, this place was his only friend. He then smiled and said to himself, "Goodbye old friend, Maybe I will see you again one day." Soren then headed to the gates.
Soren went up to the gate guard and smiled and said, "Hey Ryu, I was wondering when Damion would be getting on duty. I need to ask him something." Ryu, the Chuunin guard, said "Well he is my replacement actually, so in about an hour." Soren smiled and said, "Thanks man. I will get with him then." Soren then left and went back to his apartment to gather his things. As he packed his stuff, he remembered all the times he had spent here. Noticing a pattern, "I have always been alone. No friends, no family, no mentors... nothing. So now I will leave this village the same way I came to it... alone." Soren then locked his door and went down stairs and to Damion's house.
As Soren approached Damion's house, he could see that Damion was getting ready for his shift. He smiled and said to himself, "Your day is about to get confusing." Soren could easily tell that Damion was alone, so he took advantage of the opportunity and quickly used a Temporary Paralysis Jutsu on Damion. As he did, he gagged Damion and tied him up with steel strings. He then quickly went on his way to the wall. He smiled and said, "I cant wait to be rid of this town." Soren quickly used a transformation jutsu while behind a tree, then walked up to Ryu at the guard's desk. He didn't say anything for Ryu had already started walking away, "See you tomorrow Damion." Soren waived and waited a minute before he could safely leave the guard's desk.
After about five minutes, he walked outside the gate and strolled to the outskirts of the Hidden Sky Village. The tree line that defined the Hidden Sky's boundaries was only a few meters away. He looked back at the village and transformed back into his normal self. He then said, "Good bye ." Soren then turned around and went into the tree line. He knew that he would be followed soon, but it was no matter. Even if they would catch him, they couldn't do anything to him. Soren laughed, "What would they do? Banish me? That would be too funny." Soren then looked ahead as he continued straight towards the Land of Iron. I hope this isn't a long journey, because I am ready to get started with my training.
