The next gate to open was the third gate, the gate of life. This gate was perceived to be a stronger gate. Even releasing this gate would result in greater power, and coming with it, greater strain on the body after usage. Even though he had a goal for hunting down ninja that choose to oppose him at any circumstance and time, he needed to get stronger since he would be fighting an entire village by a certain point in time with his comrades, or possibly by himself. However, at this point, he figured he'd be able to hold his own, but what he thought wasn't good enough. He had to KNOW that his power would be good enough. He traveled to a new location in the land of rain, appearing in a type of forest that appeared to be clear of almost any life form, oddly. He didn't plan on destroying the forest..entirely. He planned on training his third gate, the gate of life along with the previous two gates he unlocked, the gate of opening and the gate of rest. He thought about opening the gate of opening, the gate of rest, and the gate of life consecutively in order to help ignore the cool down. He got in a wide stance with his elbows pulled into his sides and his arms curled. He opened the first gate, the gate of opening. "Gate of Opening, OPEN!" His body felt a surge of chakra as the restraints on his brain were released, able to utilize his muscles at one hundred percent efficiency. He dashed through the forest in increasing speeds. He zigged then he zagged, and vice versa. He then encountered a big tree. He leaped onto the tree, pressing both feet against the trunk of it as he dashed up the tree without much effort. At moments like the one he is experiencing made him appreciate his abilities more as he felt more alive. He was beginning to feel the effects go away unless he released the second gate, the gate of rest. "Gate of Rest, OPEN!" He opened the second gate known as the gate of rest, giving his body a further boost as he felt re-energized. He leaped further into the sky from the three story high tree, letting the soft and cool wind wrap and brush past and around his body. He performed a backflip as his body descended. He began running back down the same tree and ran along the ground, kicking up enormous dust. He ran around trees in a zig zag manner. He stopped at one particular tree to begin hitting it without any type of padding. He performed round houses, hook kicks, snapping the tree to pieces and he performed a final axe kick and slice and smash all the pieces down the middle without as much as getting a splinter. He dashed to another, this time, rushing through it with a single flying kick. The tree was also several stories high. He stopped after landing on the other side as the tree fell. He felt the gate's effect wearing off, but in order to keep his strength and enhance it by keeping the regulation of chakra flow, the next appropriate gate had to be unlocked. He then got into a deep stance once more, tucking his elbows in while curling his arms as bigger veins overed his temples, and even his forehead. His two initial gates caused the visible veins to form, but the gate of life caused even bigger and longer ones to appear. "Gate of Life, OPEN!!!" Upon opening the gate of life, the third gate, his skin turned red. There were already veins visible from the other previous two releases, but more veins appeared. He leaped towards one tree and delivered a spinning kick, instantly snapping the tree in half. He almost forgot that he had a mission to complete: to master all of the eight celestial gates once discovering them. He wasn't on a time limit, but he figured that he had better get it done after he finished training with the gate of life. What he failed to notice, until reaching a great big lake after leaving a decimated tree behind, is that opening the third gate causes the skin to be darkened with a blood red color from the increased blood flow. He looked at his reflection briefly before resuming his training. He practiced virtually lightning fast kicks and punches. He then pulled out a kunai from his back pocket and began to swiftly dash in random and various directions, practicing his knife strikes. He appeared as almost nothing but a blur. The kunai sliced through the air, almost seemingly silent from such immense speed. However, it began to rain. He had some targets to practice his knife strikes on, sort of. He struck the small rain drops with such accuracy and precision. He could barely feel the rain hit his body as he was too focused to be distracted. He suddenly put his knife away as the third gate, the gate of life, closed. He dropped on to his knees, panting and coughing from exgaustion. His skin returned to its normal tone of color and the veins that appeared because of the gate of opening's and the gate of life's release, began to disappear. He was at the pinnacle of the "safe zone" of the eight celestial gates training that he chose to embark proudly on. The third gate, the gate of life, was the last gate that would give Yuumou the benefit of the doubt, meaning it would be the last gate that would not give too much bodily harm. Yuumou looks at his disturbed reflection on the lake he stood on, the rain being the only main cause of the several disturbances. He decided to get up and walk towards his home, doing the normal routine to prevent him from getting sick so he can continue training without being faltered by illnesses.
