An incredibly awkward day

Okay today would be awkward. A stupid mission for some pocket change. Yet the whole situation made Amy as scarlet as her hair it seemed. Those pale cheeks such a shade of crimson outside the office. Yeah.. she felt stupid. She thought she wouldn't have a problem, after all she'd had weirder things happen. In fact her whole life was some freaky tale of just awkward moments. She hated conversation and hence she avoided people. The fact she was in a large village such as this was an entirely chanced reason. If it weren't for this mission she would have chosen to continue hiding.

The chains on her clothing jingled with the wind and as her hand hesitantly lifted to the door, she'd knock softly. Why was it this village? Just chance. Amy was everywhere, always traveling and seeing new things. It kept her mind off of her issues while Seryth took his sweet old time in contacting her. Seriously what kind of asshole just leaves someone high and dry like that. Go here.. no nevermind.. there.. nope change of plans. Next time she saw him, she'd slap him. She didn't speak after knocking, simply stood there and waited to be granted interest. It was bad enough that she didn't belong to any village. But as well, she didn't know a damn thing about this kage, This included, name appearance, etc. She was half expecting to get jumped, as if knocking would initiate a trap. Yet it was fairly obvious she held no reason to threaten anyone.

Standing atop the roof of the building in which the door being knocked upon belong was a man. This man hooded, hiding his face in darkness, was known widely throughout the village as Dante, the current Mizukage. He had stood here for quite some time, unnoticed due to the suppression of his chakra and other presences. He watched when the girl approached the door and knocked. Dante jumped down behind her after she knocked, silently 5 feet between them. "What can I do for you?" he said smoothly. His voice holding a certain chill in its tone. He was a tall man with a obvious muscular build, some would say intimidating. He did not know this female and she wore no visible headband signifying belonging to a village as far as he could tell. His hand rested on the hilt of his kitana at his side, a safety precaution. There were other people about the area, just not seen, these being the kage's secret task force or guards some would say but he never needed guards. Anywho he stood here peering at the girl, waiting for her response.

Amy heard motions as he stopped and dropped before her. Well, more of behind her. A voice boomed, deep and somewhat intimidating as it twisted and weaved through her mind. If she were an average woman she would be terrified; scared by that hiss of a voice. However her partner was a snake. Someone with a voice that haunted her, though she supposed in a good way. Those haunting eyes of hers floating back in her head as she studied this man before her. She chewed on her lower a lip a moment as she coughed and reached in her pouch. Those dainty fingers of hers rummaging in the pouch while she searched for an item she didn't exactly want anyone to know she had.

A moment passed of her silence, the pale of her face showing she had an awkward feeling inside of her. How was it that she was going to to stare down this man before she decided that she would have the courage to speak. Pulling out a small piece of clothing looking simply like stripes of cloth she looked away with a blush and shoved it at him. Ok Amy wasn't one to show feelings, but this was just an incredibly awkward thing. "Some old man posted a mission about a missing thong. I was supposed to give it to you once it was found." She shifted awkwardly and coughed, a laced hand cupped at her mouth as she closed her eyes and tried to remain calm. But she wasn't. Amy was far from calm giving some man she didn't know some person's lingerie.

After her throat was clear she seemed in thought before she would wince and clench the sides of her head. A voice familiar to her piercing her skull. And yet this man she just met would not hear them. Those three voices that were miles away. Two arguing while one calmly stated the most random idea ever. Well there wasn't much to say, when Ser made up his mind there was no turning back. However those other two voices gave Amy a migraine. However this idea would not be addressed until the awkward moment of the initial 'gift' was gone.

Dante watched the girl awkwardly and rather frantically look for something on her person. He was wary of this girl's motives but yet not alarmed by her. She seemed no different than the other people he's met before. The girl drew out something Dante had no interest in what so ever. The girl motioned to move the item toward him and this caused Dante to draw his kitana swiftly within 3 inches before her kneck. He would listen to her explanation of how she was required to bring this item for a mission but he really didn't care. "Okay, mission complete now what?" he said coldly. Dante's abrupt and straightforwardness was one to be expected if they had known him. He wasn't very friendly with outsiders. This girl was very shaky it would seem, he had wondered how she managed to become a kunoichi. The ones he knew of were rather tough on the exterior. Then something drew his attention for a moment, a certain seal on his arm requiring his immediate acknowledgement. Dante distance himself instantly from this awkward female. He jumped back and then up toward the rooftop again. He would most likely miss any response she would have to his question. At the rooftop, Dante activated the seal and listened to its contents from another member of the same organization as he. He would have to attend to this now, the presence of this girl could wait. He looked down toward her for a moment. "You there! Don't leave this village till I say you can. We'll be talking again soon and if I find you have vanished, you will be tracked down." he said in the same cold tone. It was not a threat of the girls life but it was something to be taken seriously. Dante's ninja lurked around them at that very moment and they would follow her throughout the village, keeping eye on her. Dante would then create a hand seal and with the formation of that hand seal he disappeared with what is known as a flicker.

Amy was over her shakiness as soon as the item was off her person. Her eyes rested on the man without a flinch when his blade came to her neck only inches away. OKay that was something she could handle. Her eyes were cold and once again like the daggers they usually stared. She released a huff and debated on speaking but found the situation too silly to really word her opinion. He seemed to mock or even question her abilities, and with a quirked brow she seemed to ask 'So you've managed to threaten me, now what?' The girl had nothing to fear from this man and in fact was prepared to defend herself if necessary.

Her lips prepared to move and speak to the man, but he interrupted her. He seemed he had something more to talk to her about and with a threat of her very life he ran off. Amy sighed, yet again being ditched. She must be a very inconvenient person as people always seemed to leave her high and dry. Nonetheless she found herself standing there. She probably wouldn't leave the spot. Her mind focused on something with her brain pounding. The three voices all speaking, two arguing. Such an obnoxious sound. And yet nothing more she could say. She knew she had to talk to him and she had enough people on her tail, so she would sit in wait for his return. Her arms crossed and she closed her eyes, leaning against the wall of the building.

Dante, silent as ever, had arrived back to this here scene. His footsteps making no noise as he stepped toward the young woman who daringly had her eyes closed. She seemed rather comfortable. Dante would speak from his position standing three feet from the girl, finally announcing his presence. "Ah you're still here. Im so glad." he said sarcastically. His hand rested on the hilt of his kitana, the same as before. He wondered how she would be this time. Something seemed rather different about her when she was relaxed. He eyed her carefully, taking into account the slightest details of her attire and posture.

Amy had been meditating. Seemed nowadays that was the only way she could remain sane. Well... remotely sane.. after all she did here multiple voices in her head. Yup... pretty psycho. However this man didn't know that. She held no malice, not yet at least despite the man's seemingly obvious distaste for her. She didn't care, after all she spent most of her life TRYING to get people to hate her. After all, it was less hard to go through life when the time came for betrayal and treachery. Usually on her. Backstabbed constantly. Oh how gullible she was.

As he spoke her eyes snapped open. She was silent a moment before speaking. "Before you speak, now that the mission is done my partner had something he wants me to ask." She despised talking so much yet she had no choice. Now she waited for a reaction.

Dante had a curious expression that was only half shown. She seemed very alert, well more like jumpy to him. She spoke of her partner wanted to ask him something, yet Dante saw no one else here than her. But if someone were to show up, he'd most likely notice anyway. "This partner of yours, what exactly did they want to ask? Why put you through this rather than themself? Doesn't seem quite fair to a young girl like you." The words just rolled out with such a smooth flow. His tone wasn't cold this time yet there was still something 'chilling' about it. He had a faint smirk on his face as he looked at the girl, waiting for her response. A light breeze of wind blew by seeming to have purpose of easing tensions.

Amy frowned, good legit question. A little nosy but that was because Amy hated talking more than she had to. Her eyes flicked away as she thought of the best way to word it. "My partner is busy with an important battle." The best response was the truth after all. With the soft wind her chains would jingle. She was calm, that much was obvious despite being in unknown territory. Her arms crossed over her chest and she closed those tiger eyes. "He wishes us to join your village and work as tracker nin if you would allow. If not I am able to understand, as you're just meeting myself and yet to meet Seryth. However you shall meet him soon." Her words were calm, collected as if she didn't mind either answer. She could try and prove her strength, but she was not much of a willful fighter. She would rather casual conversation first.

She paused a moment then frowned, frustrated with the man. He had changed his mind. Of course.. "Nevermind something came up.." With that said, she tuned and left the village. [exit]

Dante listened to the girl's response and even watched her leave. That was something Dante did not like at all. None of that sat right with him and indeed drew his interest into a negative direction. He did not trust the girl in the slightest bit, not that he did in the first place. It was hard to gain this man's trust. How could she request something like that and then so quickly withdraw? Dante smirked. Who was this girl and who was her partner, if she had one. "I'll be seeing you again." he said in a low tone, after she had left. She drew suspicion and he would look into it. Dante would head back into his village's domain.
