Cooking ramen was always his thing and his favorite food. But it changed when his ramen mysteriously caught on fire and burned his apartment down and had to find a new place to live. After finding a new home, he pack his things and arrives at his new apartment. The apartment was about the same size as his old but much cleaner and near many markets. To get some fresh air, he opens the window near his balcony and stares into the cloudless skies.
"coo cooo"
A carrier pigeon flies onto the rail of his balcony holding a message on its leg.
Dear Mr. Nightray,

I request your presence in my office at your earliest convenience. Please report to me when you can, Thank you.

Returning from his travels, he finally was able to relax for the moment. Turning on the tv in his room, the news on showed that a village called the Land of Ramen was found. The place was known to have the best ramen and spas in the world. Their spas are heated from the heat of the volcanoes and the heat also cooks the ramen. The place that the news described caught Vincent's attention, but at the moment he did not want to leave. There was much to be done in his home. Because of the meeting with the kage, a lot of things were now out of order. Walking to the balcony of his apartment, he stares out into the open view of his village. Everyone in the village seemed to be at peace. In truth none of them knew of the dangers that lurked outside those walls. One step out, meant a higher chance of death. That one step though could be what is needed to change one's life. The day was just beginning, it would be a waste to stay inside. After grabbing a book, he sits on his rooftop reading as the sun shined light to his book.
Hours past and now the day is about to end, but hunger struck his stomach. Remembering that his old friend owns him some food, he sets out to meet him and get some ramen.
