Clan History:
The history is told to the young as such
Long ago there lived a group of people. These people decided to feed on the flesh and blood of others, over the years the they became adapted to it, acquiring a need for the blood. They quickly made enemies with a nearby clan of ninja. A riot broke loose and the clan was ordered to subdue these 'people'. Obeying the orders, they sought out the cannibals out, killing if they could.

Outraged the cannibals began to strike back. It was a dark day indeed. They quickly made slaves of the clans around them; draining the others as if they were simply average animals. Bodies littered the area and soon only a few lived and they lived in secrecy. Hunted like animals driving them into hiding. A fear and darkness swept over the land.

However their day soon came. A boy was born with a sort of defect, his body altered in a strange way that when he was attacked, left the cannibals to die. The blood taking poisonous properties, something not right about it. This was found out after he was attacked as a child. He quickly became the hope of the village.

Taking in stride his responsibility, the boy sought to find out more on his abilities and for a while he vanished. His training proving quite fruitful. His return was something close to a sign from heaven itself. Learning to control his blood completely, he charged in an attacked the cannibals, within hours he had one. Unfortunately he had strained his body and died. His blood spilled over the area and sort of let off a strange gas into the air. This sprinkled over the people who approached the body, unbeknown-st to them a sort of miracle occurring.

As if to keep the man in their memories, they named their clan after him. Later they found out that those who had been near the dying body, if the blood had touched them had gotten a gift. Later in their generations, some of their descendants were born with this same ability. All had the same symbol on their bodies. It was considered a blessing and parting gift from their savior and the children were rose to be royalty outside of battle and highly respected inside. Unfortunately with time, stories fade and this is one that was diluted. Soon the clan's origin was ignored; forgotten and called a myth, their kekkei a great ability with a heavy burden.

Kekkei Genkai Information/Description:
This clan is a strange one indeed. The kekkei is a sacrificial sort of assault. The kekkei is decided by birth. A special sort of chakra is born in their bodies that allow them to manipulate blood. Each user however is only accustomed to their blood type. As each blood type is unique, this means that each blood type requires a different sort of chakra. The manipulation allows users to control this blood type. Be the blood connected on their bodies or on the ground, as long as its their blood their good. Each user has different abilities and some can be learned while others cannot unless you ARE of the same blood type.

When they first start and through the whole kk, they can only control their blood and theirs alone. Since at this point they have more blood than chakra, most abilities are creating something simple, like a blade of blood, less than a foot long extended from an open wound on the arm.

As they progress in their training, the blood production becomes lower than chakra production and then it becomes dangerous. If a user is not careful, the chakra infused blood could self destruct, after so much is lost the chakra itself becomes like a poison and if you continue, you will kill yourself. The human body is mortal, this kekkei is very morbid with that fact.

Drawback:
1) You can only use how much blood you have, you can't create more blood
2) At a certain point you will no longer be able to use the kekkei as you'll run out of chakra or blood.
3) If you're dying and you use it, it results in insta-death.
4) You CANNOT use dried blood.
