Samansa looked back on the place she'd been calling her home for almost three years now. The mist was not her favorite place, but it had been her only choice when the theives had taken her mother. It would be difficult to embark on her new quest now, she was so unfamiliar with the Lightning Land and had no idea how much of her family might still be alive there. She thought about her father, brother and their contribution to her mother's fate and was suddenly able to whip her eyes away from Kirigakure. She looked at the gates of the village and thought only slightly on what she was about to do. Almost on impulse, she left Kirigakure without thinking another thought.
