Hey mates. I was curious does anyone kinda miss the clans? I mean the exist now, but kinda like in secert cult. I mean don't get me wrong Abilities are a good idea, and could stay, but I feel that the clans were way more organized than the abilities as they are getting sloppish in a few ways. I mean some of the stuff is just really? I mean am I truely the only one that misses clans a bit?

Clans cause hassles. From my understanding they were that, and more of a binder to creativity for people, which is why they were taken out. Abilities give you more of a creative touch to your powers. Which is why I like it, and think this should stay the way it is.

I think a few more ability rules are in order....

Say abiliies must be relateable...like no giving wings if your kisame

I think that's already a rule o.O but, something that complaints would be better.

Keep clans heavily restricted. No mass amounts of clans being made = Less Stress/Hassle over characters.

Maybe we as a collective staff should create the clans .-. like the non canon clans. If we come up with an idea we could create it ourselves. I dunno that''s just my opinion.

How about we just cast aside Cannon clans. I mean, we really want to stray away from cannon anyway. So let's just twist things and make some OCs. I mean, I'd be happy to do it. We sorta need some special clans that make the site unique too. Going towards the unique side is what we do, no?

Wiping out cannon clans for good is a good way to throw this site into failure. So no, I'm against that. Just keep it as is. Where Custom and Cannon works using the abilities.. o-o

I like Blood and Fukais ideas. All customs should be heavily restricted or removed. Personally I never had problems with original clans. I think custom non canon is where some of this came from.

Well people could still be Uchiha Socks. I'm not saying taking away the ability. Just the named clan is all. And restrict the SHaringan users. They'd have to all be related to get the Sharingan. o.o

I wasn't talking about me. xD And for the most part, the three Uchiha there are are smart enough to know we'd all be related. I'm just saying. Being a new member to a site, and seeing something like "NO CANON CLANS" usually results in the new nigga gettingTFO.

Well we couldn't post it like that. It'd be more of a subtle way of saying there are no cannon clans. But the abilities would stay.

Fuck Nah. Not just because it would effect me, and others, but because this is a naruto site, and saying remove the canon clans based on? I mean for real look there are people still joining as this or that clan. Why? Because this or that character made the clan popular and people come to rp as part of the Naruto Universe LB. To take that away is like a downer. I dont see what changing a name would do, but people still join, still say they are part of this or that clan.

Restricting the number of people in a canon clan was fine, and I personally never had a problem. The customs that WERE already created may stay and could be placed each new reigon. I dont want to come out and say fuck customs because it would effect everyone in a way that is a custom clan. I would rather just leave things alone if people are so against it. Personally I never had a problem with Canons, but customs could be looked at more closely. I kinda believe this happened with 1 apple ruins the bunch. The CUSTOM tenma clan was that apple.

Geeze, need to make up our minds on this. One minute we have clans..then the next people get annoyed with them and their gone, then people want them back. This just causes unnecessary stress.

They are not coming back. If they did, we need to revamp the site again. I mean, think about it long and hard. And you will understand why.
